The role is also responsible for container direct sample submission support.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nIt is everyone’s responsibility to live out our Values and Absolutes by Shaping a World of Trust while ensuring responsible progress.\nDirected sample submission (DSS) support for shipping and delivery services for plated samples including inspection of inventory samples, neat sample solubilization, sample tube creation and plating activities.\nSample order support including:\nOrder system customer service\nOrder processing prioritization based on order comments.\nSample shipping and receiving\nSupport the transfer of sample submission containers and plate deliveries between buildings.\nInspection of sample testing plates to ensure automation systems are operating according to quality standards. Communication of apparent issues to client personnel.\nManagement of reference compounds.\nPick/Place sample archive support for solubilized sample archive, sample staging & storage locations (including loading and unloading samples from automated storage systems, refrigerators, and freezers in our laboratories).\nMonitor plate staging and pick-up locations: Monitor unretrieved sample plates, and support communication to biology for plate retrieval or disposal.\nSample storage maintenance and issue resolution support (i.e., locating misplaced samples, reorganization/loading of sample archives and sample staging locations, and ample tube auditing).\nOrganizes and manages workload to meet or exceed laboratory turnaround time and client expectations.\nPerforms all tasks and procedures with limited supervision\nClean, organize and maintain work area, glassware (e.g., refrigerators, freezers, and supply cabinets, as needed).\nParticipate in the laboratory inventory program that provides adequate inventories of reagents and supplies.\nAssure the accuracy of tasks by adhering to the laboratory’s SOPs.\nCommunicate effectively with team members\nComplies with all safety guidelines.\nAssist in administrative aspects of various departmental projects as directed.\nConduct verbal and written communications with internal with limited direction.\nFollow the guidelines set forth with clients and in the Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, Inc Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policies and procedures.\nComply with clients and Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, Inc management systems in accordance with appropriate regulatory agencies.\nOther duties as defined by manager, department needs and workload.\n\nSkills & Proficiencies:\nMust be comfortable handling chemical samples\nCommunicate professionally and concisely - both written and verbal\nHave solid experience maintaining a high attention to detail\nStrong experience with MS Office Suite and SharePoint sites\nAbility to quickly understand job-specific software\nTeam-oriented and the ability to work in a collaborative environment\nBe a proven multi-tasker that truly thrives on juggling multiple projects in a deadline driven environment\nPossess strong organizational skills with ability to quickly assess project status and communicate it effectively.
