Such services include early- and late-stage development, technical advisory, owner’s engineering, construction management, procurement support, and asset management.\nRole\nBureau Veritas Romania is currently seeking a dedicated Site Manager to join the Renewables team in Romania. The successful candidate shall play a key role in overseeing the overall implementation of renewable energy projects. Acting as a liaison between the company, its clients, and its external partners, the Site Manager shall ensure that all project phases, from documentation review to construction and commissioning, are delivered within scope, budget, and schedule, and in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.\nResponsibilities\nResponsibilities shall include, but shall not be limited to:\nSupervise the delivery, construction and commissioning of renewable energy projects, and manage the day-to-day operations on site to direct projects towards reaching their Provisional Acceptance status.\nActively participate in the project management process to ensure that all works meet the quality standards, milestones, and budgets, as well as the specifications and requirements within applicable standards and regulations.\nTrack project milestones, identify critical risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.\nEnsure that health and safety procedures are followed with support from HSE Coordinators.\nReview and manage related documentation, including basic and detailed designs, drawings, checklists, non-conformities, change orders, as-builts, punch lists, and progress reports.\nSupport the decision-making process from both technical and commercial aspects.\nPrepare information and reports on all aspects of the projects, including progress, budget management, timelines, milestones, resources, etc.\nCoordinate and manage communication with relevant governmental and regulatory bodies, authorities, and municipalities throughout the projects’ execution phases.\nDevelop and maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders.\nDevelop project management methodology and tools which can be implemented and used across multiple projects.\nQualifications and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field (civil, electrical, or mechanical).\nMinimum 5 years of experience in construction and project management. Having worked on renewable projects, with a proven record of successful project delivery, is a plus.\nStrong knowledge of Romanian standards, procedures, regulations, and permitting process for renewable energy assets.\nSkills and Competencies\nDisciplined work approach with a strong work ethic.\nHighly motivated, organized, and independent, with strong analytical thinking.\nStrong leadership, with a pro-active and problem-solving mindset.\nGood project management and multidisciplinary coordination skills.\nFocused on maintaining a safe working environment.\nExcellent communication skills in Romanian and English.\nExcellent negotiation, presentation, and teamwork skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project).\nLocation\nFull-time on-site during projects execution.
