This internship provides Service Members with exposure to scheduling field teams, balancing complex project needs, and supporting due diligence and assessment workflows. Interns will learn how to optimize field resource deployment, manage availability, and maintain project efficiency across multiple programs.\nLocation: Ellicott City, MD (Local Candidates Only)\nSchedule: Hybrid - In Office Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday | Remote Monday & Friday\nResponsibilities\nCoordinate and manage internal and external field resources (building assessors, engineers, architects, and due diligence specialists) using project management software.\n\nTrack and maintain resource availability, qualifications, skillsets, and geographic locations to support project requirements.\n\nAssist with planning and scheduling building assessments, inspections, and transactional due diligence engagements.\n\nServe as liaison between operational leadership, project resources, and client representatives to ensure alignment on project timelines and staffing needs.\n\nSupport cross-divisional initiatives to identify qualified, cost-effective personnel for upcoming projects and programs.\n\nEnsure compliance with client requirements, including background checks, military base access, site access, and security protocols.\n\nAnalyze field capacity and forecast resource needs to optimize project execution and team productivity.\n\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in progress or recently completed (preferred), or equivalent training/experience.\n\nExperience in people scheduling, project coordination, or administrative support is a strong plus.\n\nStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.\n\nProficiency with project management software and office productivity tools (Google Suite, Microsoft Office).\n\nDesired Skills\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nCritical thinking, problem-solving, and time management abilities.\n\nAbility to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams.\n\nFlexibility to adapt to remote work while maintaining productivity and communication.\n\nPrior experience in construction, engineering, asset management, or administrative coordination is highly desirable.\n\nSkillBridge Program Benefits\nGain real-world experience coordinating people and resources in Asset Management and Transactional Due Diligence.\n\nDevelop transferable skills for careers in project management, operations, and engineering support.\n\nWork in a hybrid professional environment with mentorship from experienced project and asset management professionals.\n\nExposure to operational workflows, client engagement, and compliance processes across multiple divisions.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nConversion rate should this move to a FT opportunity - up to $28.85/hour (equivalent to a full-time salary of approximately $60,000/year) and our FT positions beyond the SkillBridge internship would also include full benefits, PTO, holidays, matching retirement plans and tuition assistance.\n\nNote: This internship is offered exclusively through the DoD SkillBridge program for transitioning Service Members.
