Bureau Veritas helps its clients improve their performance by offering services and innovative solutions in order to ensure that their assets, products, infrastructure and processes meet standards and regulations in terms of quality, health and safety, environmental protection and social responsibility.\n\nPRIMARY FUNCTIONS\n\nResponsible for carrying out certification and verification of mechanical engineering related activities as per agreed scheme and in accordance with specified requirements during installation and commissioning.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\n\nParticipate in drafting Verification & Certification Activity Reports specifically for mechanical related works, defining Scope of work & budget on the subject.\n\nPerform site surveillance to certify and verify the mechanical engineering-related works, including the installation and testing of pipelines, pumps, compressors, valves, and storage tanks.\n\nVerify installation of mechanical components compliance with engineering specifications, regulatory, safety and industry standards including BS EN, ISO.\n\nLead audit activities, including conducting opening and closing meetings with the Quality Control (QC) manager and relevant stakeholders.\n\nDocument audit results, including compliance status, non-conformities, and corrective actions required.\n\nPrepare and submit detailed inspection reports after each site visit.\n\nReview mechanical installation plans, design specifications, and compliance documentation\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\n\nBachelor’s Degree or Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.\n\nMinimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 3 of those years involving work on similar international projects for main inspector.
