Burendo is invested in the growth of our consultants and provide a healthy self-development budget you can use to grow in the areas mentioned below, or any other of your choosing!\nThe must haves:\nFundamental coding experience, with Python being our preferred language, though we’re open to experience in Node.JS, C# or Java\nWillingness to use AI coding assistants as part of your day-to-day development, and to review and test anything they generate before you use it\nAn awareness of using AI responsibly, such as keeping client data and confidential information safe\nPlus at least one of these:\nExperience working within cloud environments, specifically AWS or Azure.\nFundamental understanding of infrastructure-as-code with Terraform or an equivalent technology.\nAnd it would be great if you have any of this:\nA good understanding of and experience working with agile methodologies\nExperience working in supporting a live product\nExperience adapting to different tech stacks\nExperience working with CI/CD pipelines\nUnderstanding of and working experience with source control, particularly Git\nExperience with database technologies of some flavour\nSome experience of using AI coding tools like Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor or ChatGPT to help with writing code, tests or documentation, whether at work, in study or on personal projects\nThese are the little bit extra, cherry-on-top skills that will help you stand out.
