Burendo is invested in the growth of our consultants and provide a healthy self-development budget you can use to grow in the areas mentioned below, or any other of your choosing!\nThe must haves:\nFundamental coding experience at least two of the following languages: Python, JavaScript, Node.js, C#, Java\nExperience working within cloud environments, specifically AWS or Azure (Or both!)\nFundamental understanding of infrastructure-as-code with Terraform or an equivalent technology\nExperience working with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, GitLabCI, Jenkins or Azure DevOps\nA good understanding of and experience working with agile methodologies\nExperience working in supporting a live product\nExperience adapting to different tech stacks\nUnderstanding of and working experience with source control, particularly Git\nExperience with database technologies of some flavour\nExperience mentoring and up-skilling engineers\nAnd it would be great if you have any of these:\nExperience of agentic coding tools, within a team workflow, including defining project guidance and conventions for the tool to follow and applying appropriate human review\nExperience building production applications or integrations using the Claude API or SDKs (or comparable LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Gemini), including tool use and the Model Context Protocol (MCP)\nExperience of defining team standards for AI-assisted development and coaching others in their effective and responsible use\nExperience with no-SQL technologies such as MongoDB\nExperience of building CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLabCI, Jenkins or Azure DevOps\nThese are the little bit extra, cherry-on-top skills that will help you stand out.
