Role Overview :

- 5+ years of IBM MQ Support experience.

Key Responsibilities :

- Appliance Lifecycle Management : Plan and execute firmware upgrades across the IBM MQ Appliance fleet (M-Series); manage HA/DR synchronization and perform pre-upgrade health audits.

- Secure Onboarding & Connectivity : Manage the end-to-end TLS/SSL onboarding process for SVRCONN and Message Channels (SDR/RCV/Cluster). Configure and rotate digital certificates (KDB/JKS) and implement CHLAUTH/CONNAUTH security policies.

- MQIPT Infrastructure : Perform software upgrades, configuration, and tuning of IBM MQ Internet Pass-Thru (MQIPT) to ensure secure traffic flow through firewalls and DMZs.

- Self-Healing Implementation : Identify recurring production "toil" and deliver automated remediation scripts (using Python, Ansible, or Shell) to detect and resolve hung channels or stuck queues without manual intervention.

- Production Support : Provide Level 3/4 escalation support for complex messaging issues, including SSL handshake failures and FDC log analysis.

- Strong Communication Skills and capability to deal with business & Global counterparts independently.
