# Mechanical Rotating Equipment Engineer

Preferred Experience: Minimum 3 Years in Oil & Gas Projects Job Overview We are looking for a Mechanical Rotating Equipment Engineer with experience in the selection, design review, engineering, and technical evaluation of rotating equipment used in Oil & Gas and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of rotating equipment performance, mechanical integrity, applicable API and ISO standards, and EPC engineering practices. Key Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in rotating equipment engineering, preferably in Oil & Gas EPC projects. Strong knowledge of centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps, compressors, blowers, fans, turbines, and associated auxiliary systems. Familiarity with API 610, API 617, API 618, API 619, API 674, API 675, API 682, and ISO 5199 standards, as applicable to the equipment. Ability to review equipment selection, performance curves, hydraulic operating conditions, NPSH, efficiency, power requirements, and operating envelopes. Understanding of mechanical seals, bearing systems, lubrication systems, couplings, shaft alignment, and vibration monitoring.
