The role involves integrating instrumentation, electrical systems, VFDs, analyzers, and field\ndevices to ensure reliable plant operation and compliance with project specifications.\nKey Responsibilities\nEngineering & Design\nDesign PLC control systems for water and wastewater treatment plants.\nDevelop PLC software in accordance with project specifications and functional design\ndocuments.\nDesign and configure SCADA and HMI applications for plant monitoring and control.\nPrepare control philosophies, I/O lists, network architecture, and automation documentation.\nReview P&IDs, electrical drawings, and control panel drawings.\nPLC Programming\nDevelop PLC programs for treatment processes:\nConfigure communication protocols such as:\no Modbus RTU/TCP\no Profibus\no Profinet\no Ethernet/IP\no OPC\nSCADA Development\nDevelop graphical SCADA screens.\nConfigure alarms and event logging.\nConfigure historical trending and reporting.\nImplement user access levels and security.\nIntegrate PLCs with SCADA servers.\nCommissioning\nPerform FAT (Factory Acceptance Test).\nPerform SAT (Site Acceptance Test).\nCommission PLC and SCADA systems at site.\nConduct I/O testing and loop checking.\nTroubleshoot automation and communication issues.\nSupport plant start-up activities.\nInstrumentation & Electrical Coordination\nInterface with field instruments including:\no Flow meters\no Pressure transmitters\no Level transmitters\no pH analyzers\no Conductivity analyzers\no DO analyzers\no Turbidity analyzers\no Chlorine analyzers\nCoordinate with electrical and mechanical teams during installation and commissioning.\nDocumentation\nPrepare:\no Functional Design Specifications (FDS)\no Operation Manuals\no Commissioning Reports\no As-built Documentation\no Backup of PLC and SCADA programso Technical Reports\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Automation Engineering / Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering,\nInstrumentation Engineering.\n3-8 years of experience in industrial automation.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in Water or Wastewater Treatment projects.\nRequired Technical Skills\nPLC
