The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of procurement experience in the construction, contracting, or engineering industry. Experience in the wastewater treatment (WWTP/STP/WTP) sector will be considered a strong advantage. The candidate should also be proficient in Tally ERP and capable of handling procurement activities efficiently while maintaining cost control and supplier relationships.\nKey Responsibilities\nSource, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.\n\nObtain quotations, compare prices, and prepare comparative statements for management approval.\n\nIssue Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely procurement of materials and services.\n\nCoordinate with project, engineering, and warehouse teams regarding material requirements and delivery schedules.\n\nMonitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.\n\nEnsure all purchased materials meet the required technical specifications and quality standards.\n\nTrack deliveries and resolve any supply delays or discrepancies.\n\nMaintain procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation.\n\nProcess procurement transactions and maintain accurate records using Tally ERP.\n\nAssist in inventory monitoring and stock replenishment.\n\nIdentify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.\n\nEnsure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.\n\nSupport management with procurement reports and other administrative tasks as required.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.\n\nMinimum 2 years of procurement experience in the construction, contracting, or engineering industry.\n\nExperience in the Wastewater Treatment (WWTP/STP/WTP) industry is an added advantage.\n\nProficiency in Tally ERP is required.\nStrong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and purchasing documentation.\n\nGood negotiation and communication skills.\n\nExcellent organizational and time-management abilities.\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.\n\nAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.\n\nFamiliarity with local UAE suppliers and procurement practices is an advantage.\n\nPreferred Skills\nStrong negotiation and vendor management skills.\n\nAbility to analyze quotations and prepare cost comparisons.\n\nKnowledge of engineering materials, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil items.\n\nAbility to coordinate effectively with multiple departments.\n\nHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail.\n\nPositive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to learn.\n\nExperience Required\nMinimum 2 years in procurement within the construction, contracting, or engineering industry.\n\nExperience in wastewater treatment projects (WWTP/STP/WTP) is an advantage.\n\nSoftware Knowledge\n\nTally ERP (Required)\n\nMicrosoft
