We offer competitive pay based on your skills and experience, opportunities for voluntary overtime, and a stable, growing business where your contributions are recognized.\nThe CNC Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving CNC machine tools and related manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production. This position performs preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnoses mechanical and electrical issues, and responds to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.\nThe CNC Maintenance Technician works closely with all levels of management, engineering, inspection and production personnel to identify recurring equipment issues, improve machine reliability, and support a safe and productive manufacturing environment.\nResponsibilities\nPerform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on CNC machine tools and related manufacturing equipment.\nTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control-system problems.\nDiagnose CNC machine faults using alarms, error codes, schematics, manuals, diagnostic tools, and other technical resources.\nTroubleshoot machine controls, sensors, switches, motors, drives, servos, and other electrical components.\nPerform mechanical repairs and adjustments, including bearings, belts, couplings, lubrication systems, pumps, and other machine components.\nTroubleshoot and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including valves, cylinders, regulators, pumps, and associated components.\nAssist with troubleshooting CNC controls, servo systems, and machine communication issues.\nPerform machine setup, alignment, leveling, and adjustments as needed to maintain equipment performance and accuracy.\nConduct scheduled preventive maintenance and document work performed in the company's maintenance system.\nRespond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production-related maintenance needs.\nWork with machine operators and production personnel to identify equipment problems and determine appropriate corrective action.\nAssist Engineering and Production with equipment installations, modifications, upgrades, and process improvements.\nIdentify recurring equipment failures and recommend solutions to improve machine reliability and reduce downtime.\nMaintain an organized inventory of maintenance parts, supplies, tools, and equipment.\nWork with outside service providers and equipment manufacturers when specialized repairs or technical support are required.\nFollow all applicable safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and other machine-specific safety requirements.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area.\nFollow company policies, procedures, and applicable OSHA requirements.\nPerform other duties as assigned. Other duties assigned.\nRequirements\nQualifications\nRequired\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nPrevious experience maintaining CNC machine tools or similar manufacturing equipment.\nStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.\nWorking knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.\nAbility to use electrical and mechanical diagnostic tools.\nAbility to troubleshoot equipment systematically and identify the root cause of failures.\nAbility to work independently while also collaborating effectively with Production, Engineering, and other Maintenance personnel.\nAbility to safely lift, move, and handle tools, equipment, and machine components as required.\nStrong commitment to workplace safety.\nPreferred\nTechnical degree, certificate, or formal training in industrial maintenance, electrical technology, mechatronics, or a related field.\nExperience maintaining CNC mills, lathes, grinders, or other precision machine tools.\nExperience with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or similar systems.\nExperience troubleshooting servo motors, drives, and motion-control systems.\nExperience with PLC troubleshooting.\nExperience with machine tool builders such as Haas, Mazak, Okuma, Mori Seiki, Makino, or similar manufacturers.\nExperience working in an aerospace or other precision-manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and work in and around manufacturing equipment for extended periods.\nAbility to use hand and power tools safely.\nAbility to work in confined or awkward positions when performing equipment maintenance.\nAbility to lift and move maintenance tools, equipment, and components as required.\nAbility to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).\nAbility to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, lubricants, coolants, and other common manufacturing conditions.\nPhysical Requirements\nExerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
