This position would cover local, day routes between manufacturing facilities and local suppliers, based out of its operations in Greensboro, NC and Burlington, NC.\nThe job requires that you operate a Class A commercial truck combination vehicle within safety guidelines as prescribed by the company and by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.\nSpecific responsibilities include:\n- Operate a tractor/trailer combination vehicle over public highways to pick up and deliver freight as directed by dispatch. Obey all federal and state laws in the operation of a commercial vehicle.\n- Maintain a valid commercial driver's license and maintain a current and valid DOT medical examiners certificate that allows operation of a commercial vehicle.\n- Maintain required records including vehicle inspection log and driver logbook, observing all laws and regulations governing hours of service (HOS) for commercial drivers.
