Additionally, the role oversees a multi-shift operation including overnights and weekends and includes multi-site responsibility. This role is integral to maintaining operational integrity by managing truck gate accuracy, as well as, to some degree, truck yard accuracy. The DCAP Supervisor will have a demonstrated ability of building strong teams and partnerships while being able to leverage data to mitigate theft and fraud.A Day in the Life\nLeadership & Team Development\nLead, coach, and motivate a team of up to 40 plus associates, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and high performance.\nProvide clear direction, set measurable goals, and conduct regular performance evaluations.\nIdentify training needs and implement development programs to enhance team capabilities.\nReview and manage teams’ attendance and time off.\nAsset Protection\nDevelop and enforce safe and secure initiatives to safeguard company assets, including inventory, property, and personnel.\nInvestigate incidents of theft, fraud, or other security breaches and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.\nOversee the accurate documentation, tracking, and verification of incoming and outgoing shipments at truck gates as well as perform validations of trailer yard audits including weekend assignments for End of Month Reporting.\nAssess department technology and equipment to confirm in working condition and up to company standard.\nSafe and Secure Operations\nPlays a supporting role in promoting workplace safety by supporting DC Safety and Operational Teams with maintaining compliance of safety policies and procedures.\nIs able to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies.\nCollaborate with operations teams to ensure adherence to safe and secure standards such as visible badge and clear bag strategies across all shifts.\nPartnership Building\nEstablish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including DC Operations, DC Safety, Human Resources, Facilities/Maintenance, and Logistics Teams.\nPartner with external agencies, such as law enforcement, as needed to address security concerns or incidents.\nAct as a liaison between the asset protection team and other departments to foster collaboration and support Company goals.\nData Analysis & Reporting\nUtilize data to identify trends, assess risks, and evaluate the effectiveness of asset protection initiatives.\nPrepare and present reports on security incidents, losses, and operational improvements to leadership.\nReview of WMS, YMS, and various other reporting tools to identify exceptions and course correct when necessary.\nOther Tasks as Assigned by Manager\nManage DC Lost & Found\nDCAP Supplies\nSecurity Vehicle Maintenance\nYou'll Come With\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends, to support a 24/7 operation\nThis role is fast-paced and requires a mix of office-based and 'on-the-floor activities', including walking or standing for extended periods of time. Frequent travel between assigned distribution sites may be expected. This travel most commonly will fall into a 25-mile radius. Occasional travel to peer sites to support critical business needs or attend off-site meetings can also be expected. Travel of distances greater than those described is limited but could occur infrequently based on business needs. This travel may include visiting third party Pool Points. \nEducation:\nAssociate’s Degree Preferred\nLicenses/Certification/Registration:\nWicklander/Zulawski Interview Training Preferred\nExperience:\n2+ years of experience in asset protection, loss prevention, or a related field, preferably in a distribution or logistics environment managing teams of 15+ associates.\nStrong understanding of security systems such as CCTV, Card Access, and Burglary Alarms.\nExcellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and collaboration across teams.\nCome join our team.
