Here is a peek at what you can expect:\nA 10-week summer program working out of our corporate headquarters where you will work side by side with industry leaders responsible for supporting critical initiatives including vendor strategy, relationships, financial analysis, and strategic planning at a leading off-price retailer.\n\nHands-on experience with our shadowing days where you will gain exposure to key construction operations to understand the off-price retail world and the strategic role vendor partnerships play in driving success.\n\nDirect mentorship from a current member of the Construction Operations team who will be your “buddy” for support and guidance throughout the program experience.\n\nInteractive networking opportunities with leadership and fellow interns offered throughout the duration of the program.\n\nAn opportunity to develop and present a capstone project, leveraging insights gained throughout the internship. Final presentation to be shared with our Property Development senior leadership team.\n\nA hybrid schedule that aligns with team and business needs, including participation in required in-person internship programming, orientation, key meetings, and other activities as applicable. (Subject to change.)\n\nRelocation benefits for eligible candidates.\n\nOur Day in the Life of a Construction Operations Intern\nAssist with managing vendor relationships, hosting QBRs, and financial analysis to support strategic decision making.\n\nSupport management with quarterly, monthly, and/or weekly reporting.\n\nMaintain and organize vendor information.\n\nHelp prepare presentations and dashboards.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams on ad hoc projects.\n\nIdentify process improvement opportunities.\n\nTeamwork drives success-collaboration across various functional areas within our department is essential. You will engage with multiple teams to gather input, share ideas, and effectively carry out your assignments.\n\nYou'll Come With\nOur Construction Operations Interns\nCurrently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Business, Supply Chain, Construction Management, Accounting, or a related field.\n\nExpected to complete a Bachelor's degree between December 2027 and May 2028.\n\nInterest in analytics, procurement, process improvement, and business operations.\n\nAbility to analyze, interpret, and work with financial and operational data.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.\n\nAbility to use data and information to support problem solving, decision making, and business objectives.\n\nAbility to build and maintain collaborative working relationships across teams and functions.\n\nDemonstrated interest in learning new concepts, adapting to changing priorities, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.\n\nStrong critical thinking, attention to detail, and written, verbal, and active listening skills.\n\nAbility to take initiative, manage responsibilities independently, and work effectively both individually and as part of a team.\n\nWith our office located in New Jersey, reliable transportation is required as Burlington is not easily accessible by public transportation.\nOur Compensation and Benefits\nAn hourly pay of $23 per hour.\n\nAn associate discount for in-store purchases.\n\nComplimentary on-site gym.\n\nProfessional development opportunities for long-term career growth.
