When necessary, this role will also provide management with the analytical support, knowledge and expertise for bid optimization, carrier negotiations and contract reviews.\nA Day in the Life\nDevelop and maintain transportation analytics, encompassing the entire scope of daily operational processes from booking at origin through delivery to DC. Mentor & guide International Logistics Specialists-I & II to achieve the highest measurable levels of service, commitment to on-time shipping and overall data integrity. Be able to backup International Logistics Specialist-I & II and Manager duties as needed.\nMaintain KPI’s, utilize quantitative skills to create and analyze reports to support the business. Hold regular discussions with service providers to evaluate their performance analytics and hold them accountable to satisfactory service levels. Own and update service providers SOPs to ensure Burlington’s operational needs are well documented and executable.\nIdentify international logistics process improvement opportunities through strategic thinking and analysis. Develop or recommend new business tools and solutions to management on how to optimize the flow of imported product and drive cost savings. Complete various projects as assigned by the management team.\nManage vendor/supplier partner relationships as it relates to the realm of international transportation, supporting with information and helping to settle disputed matters in favor of Burlington’s greatest interests. Take lead on supporting import treasury accrual process by validating and supplying accurate data and urgently work to resolve any discrepancies.\nYou'll Come With\nBachelor's degree in Business and/or Supply Chain Management.\n10+ years of international import operations/logistics\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nStrong analytical skills & special attention to detail\nAbility to work in a creative team environment\nAbility to coach, train, develop and mentor international logistics specialist & analysts.\nAbility to prioritize multiple duties and communicate status and impact as needed.\nIn addition to daily role, willing to accept projects as needed with increased impact responsibility\n· Trained and well versed in rules and regulations of the International Supply Chain.\nStrong understanding of financial impact as well as contracts and shipping operations.\nPersonal computer proficiency; strong knowledge of Team Sheets, Excel, PowerPoint & Word\nCome join our team.
