The Senior Financial Analyst will lead detailed financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and project closeout activities while proactively identifying risks, trends, and opportunities to optimize capital spend and project outcomes.\nA Day in the Life\nCapital Expense Management, Budget & Tracking\nServe as the primary finance partner for assigned Facilities capital programs, providing accurate forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis throughout the project lifecycle.\nLead monthly and quarterly capital forecasts, ensuring alignment between project timelines, spend profiles, and financial reporting.\nPrepare and present variance analysis, trend insights, and executive-level summaries for Facilities and Finance leadership.\nEnsure accuracy and integrity of capital financials, including accruals, general ledger coding, and compliance with internal controls.\nDownsize/Remodel Program Financial Support\nProvide dedicated financial ownership for the Downsize/Remodel Program, supporting both active and completed projects.\nPerform trend analysis to identify cost drivers, spending patterns, and forecasting risks across the Downsize/Remodel portfolio.\nSupport the development of Management Committee budgets\nStand up and own a new forecast process, including standardized assumptions, and ancillary departmental input to consolidate project forecasts and program forecasts, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.\nConduct project audits and financial closeout, ensuring all costs are captured, accruals cleared, and projects closed in systems.\nDistribution Center Construction Program- Financial Partnership\nProvide comprehensive financial oversight for Distribution Center construction projects from planning through completion.\nTrack and manage capital budgets, ensuring visibility to total project cost, commitments, and forecasted spend.\nWork directly with vendors and project teams on draw schedules, payments, and accruals, ensuring accurate timing and financial reporting.\nLead forecasting activities for Distribution Center projects, incorporating construction schedules, vendor commitments, and risk factors.\nPartner closely with Supply Chain to maintain a full financial and operational view of each project, supporting effective communication and alignment.\nPerform ROI and financial analysis for alternative Distribution Center build options, supporting strategic decision-making and capital allocation.\nSpecial Projects\nComplete special projects as given by SVP/VP and Director of Facilities\nScope and Impact\nThis role has a direct impact on the financial governance, transparency, and performance of Facilities capital programs that represent significant company investment and operational importance.\nSupports large-scale, multi-year capital programs with complex funding structures, vendor relationships, and construction timelines, requiring a high level of financial rigor and cross-functional coordination.\nInfluences capital investment decisions by providing accurate forecasts & trend analysis, enabling leadership to evaluate trade-offs, prioritize projects, and manage risk.\nDrives forecast accuracy and budget discipline by owning key forecasting processes, improving assumptions, and ensuring alignment between operational plans and financial reporting.\nStrengthens financial controls and compliance through project audits, PO governance, accrual accuracy, and timely project closeout, reducing financial leakage and audit risk.\nEnhances organizational efficiency by standardizing and improving financial processes, increasing visibility into capital spend and reducing manual rework across teams.\nContributes to enterprise-level outcomes by supporting capital investments that directly impact store profitability, operational efficiency, supply chain capacity, and long-term growth.\nYou'll Come With\nA Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field\nAdvanced Degree preferred\n3-5 years of experience in Finance with an emphasis on budgeting, forecasting, planning and analysis\nProven experience in finance with demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities\nStrong, practical knowledge of MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint with the ability to utilize various other Business Intelligence reporting and internal tracking mechanisms.\nStrong communication skills, able to translate technical data to non-technical audiences.\nRetail Operational Finance or FP&A experience preferred\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data gathering, organization, analysis, interpretation, and solution development\nProven experience in KPI development and dashboard reporting\nStrong time management skills with the ability to thrive in a time-bound environment\nExcellent organizational skills with the flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities\nDemonstrated ability to interact across a broad range of organizational levels and
