Designs and develops new controls and control improvements by performing the following duties.\nThis is a full-time position located in Lancaster, PA. Hours are Monday-Thursday, 7:45 AM - 4:45 PM, Friday 7:45 AM - 3:30 PM.\nEssential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\nDevelops, evaluates and approves new and existing functional designs and cost improvements to improve the competitive position of the company.\nDevelops, maintains and approves all wiring diagrams and revisions for new and existing products.\nManages hardware and software changes as well as upgrades to existing systems.\nProcures materials needed to construct prototypes.\nPlans and develop test programs for prototypes.\nDevelops and maintains control installation and operation manuals and revisions\nProvides sketches, markups, and directions to design-drafters and drafters to create new control display and PCB drawings.\nCreates test reports, performs tests and analyzes test results to determine if designs meet functional and performance specifications.\nAnalyzes, evaluates, sources, and coordinates the procurement of new controls and displays components\nPerforms technical analysis of competitive products.\nTakes initiative to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.\nProvides support to sales and marketing on control presentations and customer support.\nUse controller and display hardware and software specific applications to set up and program control systems.\nQualifications/Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Engineering or related field from four-year College or university with 5 years of experience a plus but not required.\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
