In this fast-paced role, you will coordinate appointments, verify client and insurance information, collect payments, maintain accurate records, and provide excellent service while confidently managing sensitive or challenging interactions.\n.\nThis position offers…\nEmployee Assistance Program - 24/7 counseling services, legal assistance, & financial consultation for you and your household at no cost\nMileage Reimbursement - Company paid for work functions requiring travel\nEmployee Discounts - Hotels, Theme Parks & Attractions, College Tuition\nWorkplace Culture - An environment cultivating employee wellbeing, valuing each individual's humanity, and actively promoting a healthy, joyful workforce\nAdditional Perks & Benefits - Scroll down to bottom of this post to learn more\n.\nKey Responsibilities:\nWelcome clients to the clinician practice, verify personal and payment information, confirm insurance coverage, collect applicable copayments, and provide requested information.\nSchedule clinician appointments, confirm client benefits and eligibility, and coordinate referrals to support timely access to services.\nAssist clients, families, and staff with questions or concerns that arise during visits, using excellent guest relations and problem-solving skills.\nManage appointment changes, cancellations, bumped appointments, and no-shows according to established processes.\nRequest, prepare, and review client health records to ensure documentation is complete and current.\nAccurately collect payments, make change, issue receipts, document transactions, and balance daily cash amounts against recorded activity.\nUse Electronic Medical Records and other appropriate applications effectively and accurately.\nAnswer and route telephone calls to the appropriate area and place outgoing calls as requested by leadership.\nProvide leadership with helpful feedback regarding the client experience and clinician office practice services.\nMaintain a welcoming reception and waiting-room environment, including straightening chairs, magazines, and other light furniture.\nOperate office equipment, including phones, fax machines, and copiers.\nParticipate in service monitoring and quality-improvement initiatives.\nComplete additional duties and projects as assigned by leadership.\n.\nEducation, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nPrevious customer service experience preferred.\n.\nAdditional Qualifications:\nDemonstrate excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.\nMaintain a strong customer-service orientation and use sound judgment during dynamic or potentially stressful client encounters.\nWork effectively with minimal day-to-day instruction while adapting to general direction on new assignments.\nManage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills while contributing as a dependable team member.\nDemonstrate excellent typing, computer, and general office-equipment skills.\nSuccessfully complete required background screenings, including criminal record, driving record, abuse and neglect, and fingerprint checks.\nMaintain a current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation to assigned work locations.\n.\nPhysical Requirements\nADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, up to one-third of the workday, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently, from one-third to two-thirds of the workday, to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. The position requires repetitive hand, finger, and arm movements for typing and writing throughout the work shift.
