Willingness to escalate known or suspected problems until satisfactory resolution is received.\nEssential Functions/Key Responsibilities:\nThe service and repair of electro mechanical parts and assemblies based on written procedures and technician’s knowledge.\nEvaluation of customer parts to determine repairs required to refurbish parts to standard.\nImplement and test repair of customer parts.\nConsistent, superior work quality with limited supervision required.\nTime management.\nAssist with continuing process and quality improvement in all jobs.\nAccurate input of information required by the Repair System.\nMaintenance of personal work station and any other workstation used in the course of completing a Work Order for repair or assembly.\nWillingness to provide assistance in Shop as required.\n\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh School Degree or Equivalent\nElectro-mechanical production/repair setting experience desired\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nGood verbal communication skills.\nThe ability to understand the product and differing customer requirements.\nBasic electronics experience in a production/repair setting\nBasic electronic schematic and mechanical drawing reading skills.\nBasic Electronic and mechanical measurement instrument skills. (eg., DMM, oscilloscope, calipers, micrometer, indicator).\nGeneral computer software skills. (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc)\nBasic knowledge of components used for repair (e.g., fasteners, connectors, passive components, semiconductors, ICs, sensors, motors, solenoids, belts, rollers.)\nBasic PCB soldering skills.\n\nPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear.\nThe employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
