Standard days worked are Monday-Friday with occasional overtime and Saturday during busy times.\nJob Summary\nResponsible for assembling all components of a cabinet. Then moves the cabinet on a conveyor for Final Assembly and Final Quality Inspection.\nResponsibilities and Duties\nResponsible for applying glue, screws, nails and staples to components when necessary.\nFlexibility to move from one role to the next depending on the line and business needs\nIdentify quality and cleanliness issues \nAble to communicate effectively\nReports defective parts to Management\nMeet deadlines for production\nIdentify safety issues and report to Group Lead\nMark completed orders in Salesforce to update build schedule\nClean the work area throughout the shift.\nEssential Skills\nBasic understanding of hand tools, including a chop saw, pneumatic nail and staple guns, cordless power drills and screwdrivers\nMust be able to read a tape measure to 1/32nd inch\nMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds\nAble to perform consistently to meet/exceed production quotas\nAbility to perform other duties requested or required by management\nFollow direction and instruction \nWork well with other employees\nFollow safety guideline\nAbility to work overtime when needed\nPhysical Demands and Working Conditions\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to:\nRemain in a stationary position for extended periods.\nMove about the factory floor to access machinery, materials, and product storage.\nTransport materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.\nOperate, activate, and use production machinery and hand tools that require repetitive\nmotions of the wrists, hands, and fingers.\nDetects and inspect parts for quality control at close vision (less than 20 inches) and assess safety hazards from a distance (20 feet or more).\nThe employee will be exposed to a manufacturing environment where the noise level can be loud and will work around moving mechanical parts. Regular exposure to airborne particles and temperature fluctuations should be expected.
