We are a growing company where employees work closely across departments to solve challenging technical problems and deliver critical systems to our customers.\nPosition Summary\nBusek is seeking a Scheduler to support the planning, coordination, and execution of aerospace manufacturing and development programs. This position will develop and maintain schedules, monitor progress against project milestones, identify potential delays, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to keep work on track.\nThe ideal candidate has experience with project scheduling in a manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or engineering environment. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Project are important for success in this role.\nEssential Functions\nDevelop, maintain, and update integrated project and production schedules using Microsoft Project and other scheduling tools as needed.\n\nCoordinate schedules across Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Assembly, and Testing.\n\nTrack project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, resource requirements, and critical path activities.\n\nMonitor progress against established schedules and identify risks, delays, and potential conflicts.\n\nWork with department leads to understand current priorities, resource constraints, material availability, and production requirements.\n\nCoordinate with Procurement and Supply Chain to incorporate material lead times, supplier commitments, and delivery dates into project schedules.\n\nMaintain accurate schedule data and provide regular status updates to project managers and department leadership.\n\nPrepare schedule reports, milestone summaries, and progress updates to support management reviews and customer commitments.\n\nIdentify schedule variances and work with responsible teams to develop recovery plans and revised timelines.\n\nSupport project planning, schedule forecasting, and coordination of multiple concurrent programs.\n\nMaintain clear communication of schedule changes, upcoming milestones, and potential impacts to stakeholders.\n\nSupport continuous improvement of scheduling processes, reporting, and project management practices.\n\nPerform other related duties as needed.\n\nQualifications\nExperience in project scheduling, production planning, project coordination, or a similar role.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Project, including task dependencies, milestones, critical path analysis, and schedule updates.\n\nExperience working in an aerospace, defense, manufacturing, engineering, or other technically complex environment preferred.\n\nUnderstanding of manufacturing workflows, material planning, procurement lead times, and production constraints.\n\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules and competing priorities.\n\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.\n\nStrong attention to detail and the ability to identify schedule conflicts and risks.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.\n\nAbility to work independently while collaborating with engineering and operations teams.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting aerospace hardware development, production, assembly, integration, or testing.\n\nFamiliarity with project management principles, work breakdown structures, resource loading, and schedule risk analysis.\n\nExperience with ERP or MRP systems and the integration of production schedules with procurement and inventory planning.\n\nExperience supporting government or defense contracts and customer delivery commitments.\n\nFamiliarity with earned value management or other project performance tracking methods.\n\nWork Environment\nThis position works closely with engineering and manufacturing teams in a hands-on aerospace technology environment.
