AMiT Transportation is a company backed by private equity Central Europe Industry Partners.

AMiT develops and manufactures control and information systems for railway and public transportation. Biggest customers are Stadler, Skoda, Siemens… AMiT has grown significantly both organically and via acquisitions - in the past 2 years AMiT has acquired 3 companies, both in DE and in CZ, with apetite to continue this trajectory. The acquisition growth sets two challenges - how to pick the right company to acquire, and how to integrate it to maximize synergies.

Your role

• Support in identifying and analyzing potential targets
• Support / lead commercial Due Dilligence. We are a strategic buyer, so you can expect to get solid level of in-house expertize to support you
• Lead selected integration activities, with clearly defined target of synergy realization. Practically this means
• Analyzing which target set up is in line with the company strategy, maximizes synergies and is realistically feasible to achieve
• Get alignment of key people leading relevant departments
• Chase people to do the promised tasks, even though the work comes on top of everyone’s daily agenda
• Split between integration and commercial DD work can be agreed individually. However, we it should have some degree of both elements - we like the element that who calculates synergies during commercial DD is the one responsible for delivering on it

Your profile

• Experience with Commercial DD preferred
• Experience with integration / transformation work as a consultant (either external or internal)
• Drive - you are not afraid to remind people multiple times that they haven’t done what they promised
• Structure - you will need to balance multiple streams / tasks at once, with regular reminders. This can only work if you like maintaining structured list of tasks in your perimeter of responsibility, and act upon them regularly
