You'll havethe opportunity to strengthen BUX's security posture, implement cutting-edge security solutions, anddrive security awareness across our engineering organisation.\nAs a Google Cloud Security Expert, you will be the security subject matter expert for our engineering teams. This could mean:\nStrengthen the BUX security posture through proactive risk management and continuous improvement\nImplement and manage Google Cloud Security Command Center Enterprise\n\nConfigure and maintain security monitoring, threat detection and alerting\n\nConduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans\n\nDevelop and maintain security dashboards for visibility across cloud assets\n\nImplement and maintain security standards across the organisation\nDefine and document security policies, standards and best practices\n\nEstablish secure development guidelines and support teams in adoption\n\nEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, DORA)\n\nWork with the platform team to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines\n\nSupport engineering teams with security questions, issues and guidance\nAct as the security subject matter expert for development teams\n\nReview and advise on security aspects of system designs and architectures\n\nAssist with security incident investigation and response\n\nProvide security training and awareness programs for engineering staff\n\nManage cloud security operations\nConfigure and tune threat detection rules and security alerts\n\nDevelop automated response playbooks for common security scenarios\n\nMonitor and respond to security findings, vulnerabilities and misconfigurations\n\nCoordinate with external security partners and auditors as needed\n\nDrive continuous security improvement\nStay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities collaborative fintech environment.\nFurthermore, we require:\nSenior / Staff level experience in cloud security\n\nExpert knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) security\n\nHands-on experience with Google Cloud Security Command Center Enterprise (SCC Enterprise)\n\nStrong knowledge of SIEM/SOAR platforms and security operations\n\nExperience with cloud security posture management and compliance frameworks\n\nKnowledge of threat detection, vulnerability management and incident response\n\nUnderstanding of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, DORA)\n\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code security (Terraform, Kubernetes)\n\nStrong communication skills to collaborate across engineering teams\n\nAbility to translate complex security concepts for technical and non-technical audiences\n\nNice to have\nSecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, GCSA, GIAC)\n\nExperience with AWS or Azure in addition to GCP\n\nKnowledge of DevSecOps practices and tooling\n\nExperience with container security and Kubernetes security best practices\n\nFamiliarity with penetration testing and ethical hacking techniques\n\nExperience in regulated industries,
