The role involves administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, patching, upgrades, and migrations across on-premises and cloud environments.Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) experience are mandatory.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nAdminister and support Oracle EBS 11i, R12.1, and R12.2.x application and database environments.\nPerform EBS installation, configuration, patching, cloning, upgrades, and migrations.\nManage application-tier components, including concurrent managers, workflow services, Oracle Forms and Reports, Oracle HTTP Server, and Oracle WebLogic Server, as applicable to the EBS release.\nPerform EBS patching using ADPATCH and R12.2 online patching using ADOP.\nAdminister Oracle Database versions up to and including 19c, maintaining compatibility with the applicable EBS release.\nTroubleshoot complex application, database, and infrastructure issues and perform root cause analysis.\nMonitor and optimize application and database performance, including SQL tuning and capacity planning.\nManage backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery using RMAN, Oracle RAC, and Data Guard.\nSupport Oracle workloads on OCI and other cloud platforms, including AWS or Microsoft Azure.\nMaintain security controls, monitoring, operational documentation, and recovery procedures.\nCollaborate with application, infrastructure, development, and business teams to resolve production incidents and implement changes.\n\nMandatory Skills:\nOracle Applications DBA\nStrong hands-on administration and support experience with Oracle EBS 11i, R12.1, and R12.2.x.\nExperience with EBS application and database tiers, including patching, cloning, configuration, upgrades, and migrations.\nHands-on experience with ADOP, ADPATCH, AutoConfig, and Rapid Clone.\nExperience supporting concurrent processing, workflow, application services, and application-tier connectivity.\nStrong understanding of EBS architecture and application/database dependencies.\nOracle Database Administration\nStrong Oracle Core DBA experience with database versions up to and including Oracle Database 19c.\nHands-on expertise in:\nOracle RAC and ASM.\nOracle Data Guard.\nDatabase and SQL performance tuning.\nRMAN backup and recovery.\nDatabase patching, upgrades, migrations, and cloning.\nDatabase security, monitoring, and capacity management.\nTroubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis\nStrong hands-on troubleshooting skills across Oracle EBS application tiers, Oracle databases, and cloud infrastructure.\nAbility to diagnose and resolve production incidents, performance degradation, connectivity failures, patching errors, and backup/recovery failures.\nExperience analyzing logs, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.\nAbility to independently manage critical incidents and communicate clearly throughout resolution.\nOracle Cloud Infrastructure and Other Cloud Platforms\nMandatory hands-on OCI experience, including:\nCompute, storage, networking, and Identity and Access Management (IAM).\nOracle database services and EBS deployments.\nMonitoring, backup, and disaster recovery.\nCloud migrations and administration.\nExperience supporting Oracle workloads on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or other cloud platforms.\nUnderstanding of hybrid cloud connectivity, security, and operational support.\nOperating Systems and Scripting\nStrong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting skills relevant to Oracle environments.\nHands-on shell scripting experience for routine administration, monitoring, and automation.\n\nPreferred Skills — Nice to Have\nMicrosoft SQL Server DBA experience, including administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and troubleshooting.\nAI-driven automation experience, including AI-assisted database monitoring, performance optimization, incident diagnosis, and automation of routine DBA tasks.\nOracle Exadata administration and performance optimization.\nAutomation using Python, Ansible, or similar tools.\nDesign and implementation of high-availability
