This includes selecting customer pick waves, navigating aisles, locating SKU'd items, scanning boxes onto carts, scanning items onto pick shelves, tracking down lost items, and assisting customers as needed.\nResponsibilities\nThe Product Handler - Picker supports order fulfillment operations and must be prepared to perform any of the following duties:\nOrder Picking\nRetrieve items from warehouse locations according to customer orders using a smartphone and scanner.\nVerify order accuracy and completeness.\nWork with speed and accuracy to meet daily performance goals.\nItem Scanning\nEnsure that every item is scanned into the correct cart and/or shelf location - nothing moves without being scanned.\nVisually confirm that all location scans are registering correctly.\nConduct warehouse inventory scans as needed.\nCustomer Assistance\nAssist with running customer orders and customer load-out as directed by the Supervisor.\nLost Item Tracking\nHunt for lost items in the warehouse using last-known-location data and other logic.\nWarehouse Organization\nMaintain clean and organized shelves.\nEnsure items are stored in their designated locations.\nRequirements\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nPrevious experience in order picking is preferred.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nExcellent customer service and communication skills.\nAbility to operate a smartphone and Bluetooth scanner.\nPhysical Requirements\nThis role involves sustained physical activity throughout the shift. The following are bona fide requirements of the position:\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.\nAbility to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.\nAbility to bend, stoop, and reach overhead frequently.\nAbility to work at a fast pace in a goal-driven environment.\nPosition requires seeing, hearing, use of hands and fingers, sitting, standing, walking, reaching, twisting, turning, kneeling, bending, squatting and stooping in the performance of daily activities.\nMust be able to communicate with others including talking, hearing, and listening and exchanging communication.\nThis position requires working both indoors and outdoors as business needs require.
