Reporting to the Head of Compliance, this role supports the hands-on execution and continued improvement of our U.S. financial crime compliance program. You will work across customer due diligence, transaction investigations, regulatory reporting, and policy development, partnering with global Compliance and U.S. business teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, takes initiative, works autonomously, and demonstrates the resourcefulness and sound judgment needed to navigate complex challenges, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.\nKey Areas of Responsibilities:\nSupport day-to-day administration of U.S. BSA/AML and sanctions compliance controls, including maintaining procedures and supporting records.\nDraft and update BSA/AML policies, procedures, risk assessments, and control documentation for review and approval.\nReview transaction monitoring alerts, investigate unusual activity, document findings, and escalate issues appropriately.\nPrepare suspicious activity investigation summaries and SAR narratives; support timely SAR filings and related recordkeeping in accordance with internal approval processes.\nReview customer onboarding, KYC/KYB, beneficial ownership, CDD/EDD, and periodic review materials; identify gaps and recommend risk-based actions.\nAssist with regulatory reports and filings, including FinCEN reporting, NMLS filings, and MSB Call Reports, as applicable.\nSupport regulatory examinations, independent reviews, banking partner requests, and consumer complaint investigations and responses.\nCoordinate with Compliance, Operations, Product, and Commercial teams to resolve questions and improve workflows.\nMonitor relevant developments in U.S. money transmission, payments, sanctions, and digital-asset financial crime risks.\nWhat we need from you:\n3-5+ years of hands-on BSA/AML, financial crime investigations, or related compliance experience in banking, payments, MSBs, or fintech.\nWorking knowledge of BSA/AML, FinCEN requirements, OFAC sanctions, and risk-based customer due diligence.\nExperience conducting transaction investigations and drafting clear, defensible SAR narratives or investigative memoranda.\nExperience reviewing KYC/KYB, CDD/EDD, and customer risk information.\nStrong written communication, sound judgment, attention to detail, and ability to organize multiple priorities.\nAbility to work independently on assigned matters and escalate decisions requiring compliance leadership approval.\nPreferred: exposure to U.S. money transmitter regulation, NMLS reporting, stablecoins/digital assets, blockchain analytics, or cross-border payments.\nWhat you can expect from us:\nFair and competitive salary at every stage of your growth\nFlexible working hours, with hybrid working at its heart\nA culture built on passionate, growth-minded people\nA flexible approach to holiday\nOpportunities to travel to our offices around the world\nAn open and creative environment where you can help us define the future of BVNK, its culture, and its opportunity sets\nAt BVNK, we are focused on building a diverse and inclusive team.
