You will partner closely with engineering teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines, drive Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) standards, enhance platform observability, and embed robust security and automation across our entire deployment lifecycle.\nKey Areas of Responsibilities:\nCloud Infrastructure & Architecture: Design, provision, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient multi-region cloud infrastructure using modern Infrastructure-as-Code practices.\nCI/CD & Deployment Automation: Architect, maintain, and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure safe, repeatable, and automated releases across environments.\nPlatform Reliability & Observability: Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting systems to ensure high uptime and rapid incident response.\nSecurity & Compliance Standards: Embed DevSecOps best practices into every stage of the software lifecycle, maintaining rigorous security controls, automated compliance checks, and access management.\nDeveloper Experience & Tooling: Build and maintain developer platforms and self-service tooling that empower software engineers to deploy, test, and manage services independently and efficiently.\nTechnical Leadership & Collaboration: Champion operational excellence and automation within the team, providing guidance and mentorship to engineers across the wider organisation.\nWhat we need from you:\n Extensive DevOps / Cloud Engineering Experience: Proven track record operating and scaling production systems within modern cloud environments (e.g., AWS).\n Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Deep expertise with tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to manage complex infrastructure at scale.\n Containerisation & Orchestration: Strong production experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS or equivalent).\nCI/CD Mastery: Proven experience designing and optimising automated pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions or ArgoCD.\n Observability & Monitoring: Hands-on experience with modern observability tooling (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch).\nScripting & Automation: Strong scripting proficiency in languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.\n Security-First Approach: Solid understanding of cloud security fundamentals, network architecture (VPCs, firewalls, load balancers), permissions segregations and secrets management.\nBonus: Experience operating infrastructure in regulated environments, payments, FinTech, or crypto/blockchain platforms.\nBonus: Exposure to AI-assisted developer workflows or automation tooling.\nOpen to participate in out of hours on call rota\nWhat you can expect from us:\nFair andcompetitive salary at every stage of your growth\nFlexible working hours, with hybrid working at its heart\nA culture built on passionate, growth-minded people\nA flexible approach to holiday\nOpportunities to travel to our offices around the world\nAn open and creative environment where you can help us define the future of BVNK, its culture, and its opportunity sets\nAt BVNK, we are focused on building a diverse and inclusive team.
