Monitor and closely assist Vendors/Contractors services on board.\n Monitor machinery to ensure efficient and safe operation.\nMaintain the workshop and storage spaces in a clean and orderly manner.\nMaintain pumps, compressors, motors, diesel engines, gas turbines, valves and PSVs in good working condition.\nOperate hydraulic torqueing equipment, pneumatic tools, and electrical power tools, ensuring their correct and safe use in accordance with applicable procedures.\nPerform controlled torque application and bolt tightening activities using hydraulic torque tools, following specified torque values and technical procedures.\nPerform pressure testing on equipment and systems in accordance with established procedures, with strict attention to the risks associated with pressurization and depressurization activities.\nSafely operate electrical grinders, bench drills, and other workshop tools, following safety procedures and using the appropriate PPE.\nDemonstrate effective communication, teamwork, and collaboration with professionals from different disciplines, particularly in offshore and multicultural environments.\nCarry out shaft alignment of rotating equipment and basic vibration checks, reporting abnormal readings to the Mechanical Supervisor.\nMaintain the lubricants schedule and inventory updated.\nOther duties that are correlated to the function as directed and requested by the Mechanical Supervisor. Keep up mandatory certification applied to the function and medical certificates up to date.\nAttend Company training as defined. Perform all emergency duties assigned to their function, in response to the emergency, if applicable.\nEnsure compliance with BW procedures, applied to the function, including BW Permit to Work System.\nNeed to be fully familiar and comply with Company Policies, Quality, HSE and all Procedures assigned to his title/position.\n Anticipate and notify any unsafe condition and assure that the correction actions are taken according to procedure.
