The role operates the DCS, Fire & Gas, and ESD systems, monitors plant performance, and responds to operational deviations and emergencies. The position also supports well testing, troubleshooting activities, and accurate recording of operational data.\nResponsibilities:\n\nOperate the DCS, Fire & Gas System, ESD System. (Emergency Shutdown).\nTo act consciously and safely in times of emergency by understanding your role and following the OIM´s instructions.\nMonitor the correct operation of all plant and equipment.\nLog taking and understanding and interpretation of data. Work closely with DCS Technician on all matters concerning the DCS or PLCs. (Program to control the plant). Use the DCS efficiently and react immediately in case of emergency.\nMaintain historical trends of the various process systems.\nTo fill out the shift logbook with all relevant information regarding fire and gas systems, process conditions, and inhibition, and to ensure it is properly recorded and archived.\nPerform well testing and ensure the correct data is obtained through a report to be presented Well Testing Department.\nTest the wells and ensure correct data collection through a report to be presented to the Well Testing Department.\nParticipate on plant troubleshooting.\nInform Production Supervisor when the system is unstable or malfunctioning.\nOther duties that are correlated to the function as directed and requested by Production Supervisor Or Production Superintendent.\nKeep up certification applied to the function and medical certificates up to date.\nAttend Company training as defined.
