This diversified hospitality company that specializes in upscale restaurants, event spaces, and boutique hotels is growing and has exciting opportunities available for the right individuals.\nBy Landmark is currently looking for Hotel General Manager for our Summit, New Jersey location.\nSummit, NJ | Full-Time, On-Site\nPosition Summary\nThe General Manager of The Albion Summit is responsible for the overall leadership, financial performance, guest experience, operations and brand building of this historic mixed-use hospitality property. The role oversees a 100-room boutique hotel, our restaurant Felina Summit, multiple bars and lounges, weddings and events, The Stork Club membership and social club, community spaces, and future expansion initiatives.\nThis is a hands-on leadership role requiring an owner’s mindset, equally comfortable managing the P&L, developing teams, driving revenue, engaging with the community, and being visible on the floor.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn the property's full P&L, budgeting, forecasting, KPIs, labor, costs, and profitability.\n\nLead overall hotel, food & beverage, events, catering, membership, and ancillary operations.\n\nPartner with department leaders and Home Base to achieve revenue, operational, and brand goals.\n\nDrive guest satisfaction and service standards, personally addressing escalations when necessary.\n\nRecruit, develop, coach, and retain a high-performing leadership team.\n\nOversee event sales and execution, including weddings, corporate events, and social celebrations.\n\nMaintain By Landmark brand standards throughout the property and ensure compliance with health, safety, licensing, and operating requirements.\n\nBuild relationships within the Summit community and serve as a visible representative of The Albion and By Landmark.\n\nSupport new concepts, expansion projects, and additional revenue opportunities.\n\nIdeal Candidate\nProven hotel and hospitality leadership experience with full P&L responsibility.\n\nExperience managing multiple revenue centers, ideally including hotel/rooms, F&B, and events.\n\nStrong financial, operational, and people-leadership skills.\n\nA visible, hands-on leader with excellent judgment and a strong service mentality.\n\nExperience with boutique, lifestyle, independent, or destination properties preferred.\n\nFamiliarity with hospitality systems such as Cloudbeds, Flexkeeping, Akia, and restaurant POS platforms is a plus.\n\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.\n\nSchedule & Compensation\nFull-time, on-site hospitality schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.\nSalary: $125,000-$165,000 annually, based on experience, plus performance-based incentive and benefits.\nBy Landmark builds places where people come to make memories.
