Be a part of the team that delivers excellence in national missile defense, human space flight, space launch, and combat rescue!\nResponsibilities\nAssists in the Development and implementation COMSEC policies and procedures for the VSFB COMSEC account, ensuring compliance with DAFMAN 17-1302-O, MPTO 00-33B-5001, CNSSI 4001, 4003, 4004.1 & 4005 and NSA 3-16 across multiple sites\nAssists COMSEC Managers with COMSEC personnel and operations, ensuring adherence to federal security standards, conducting training, and overseeing operational effectiveness.\nEnsure compliance with all required regulations and directives by leading audits, assessments, and process evaluations to maintain operational integrity.\nEnsure all personnel receiving COMSEC material are enrolled in the Cryptographic Access Program (CAP) as required\nEstablish a comprehensive user-training program for all COMSEC Responsible Officers (CROs) and Secure Voice Responsible Officers (SVROs) and alternates\nEnsure CROs and SVROs conduct user training for all personnel having access to COMSEC material\nEnsure users write COMSEC Standard Operating Procedures and coordinate with the COMSEC Manager\nAssist users in obtaining COMSEC accountable Cryptographic Controlled Item (CCI) equipment in support of program/mission requirements\nMaintain COMSEC account files and prepares and submits accounting receipt records of all COMSEC material issued to users\nEnsure realistic Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) exist at all user locations\nReceive/send packages via Defense Courier Service (DCS) and ensure all material received reconciles with material listed on the transfer report\nProvide users with guidance on shipping COMSEC accountable equipment\nAssist supporting controlling authorities when conducting crypto-systems management revalidations and surveys\nLead risk management efforts related to COMSEC material security, identifying potential vulnerabilities and implementing corrective actions\nAssists COMSEC Managers with semiannual assessment/audit of both the main account and all local element accounts\nProvide CROs with applicable status information for the key they are issued\nRequired Experience/Qualifications\nMust have 1-3 years experience\nMust be familiar with COMSEC requirements and procedures to include the acquisition, maintenance, operations and disposition of COMSEC equipment.\nPreferred Experience/Qualifications\nCompTIA Security+\nSpecial Requirements/Security Clearance\nActive DoD TS/SCI Clearance\nSalary Range\nSALARY RANGE:\nSalary Minimum: $52,125Salary Mid: $ 83,400Salary Maximum: $ 105,120\nThe annual base salary provided is a guideline for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
