The Eastern and Western Ranges provide capabilities for customers to safely launch, track and recover spacelift systems as well as perform operational test missions in support of ballistic missile deployment and aircraft flight tests.\nEWOCS provides communication systems maintenance, operations, and support services for voice, video, data and infrastructure yielding a robust communications capability for a wide range of customers in a dynamic launch environment.\nResponsibilities\nInstall and repair equipment; instructs customers in equipment operation; provides technical assistance; checks equipment for malfunctions.\nPerforms a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.\nAnalyzes and evaluates products and related performance.\nTroubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time.\nInstalls, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change.\nAssembles, installs and configures systems and equipment in accordance with site assessments and schematics.\nCompletes system programming and optimization as part of the installation process.\nPerforms routine system maintenance and analysis functions, including hardware configurations and adding, removing and replacing equipment components.\nProvides on-site end-user training on system operation, maintenance and limited troubleshooting.\nMaintains effective customer communications and relations.\nTravels frequently to customer sites and performs field technician service duties as assigned.\nUnder general supervision the Customer Service Representative will work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practices. \nWork is checked since errors may cause delay or expense.
