FSO is looking for personnel to support the Regional Network Enterprise Center (RNEC) Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE), Virginia, Local Network Enterprise Center (LNEC) Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia, and Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek Fort Story (JEBLCFS), Virginia, with classified and unclassified communication systems support. Personnel will provide Site Management, Infrastructure Operation and Maintenance (O&M) - Unified Communications, Inside Plant (ISP), Customer Service Telephone, Outside Plant (Cable) (OSP), Battery Maintenance, Cable Locates; Systems Management - Mission Server, Automation and Network Support, Cybersecurity, and Tier II Customer Support; Land Mobile Radio; and Configuration Management support.\nWork is on site and core duty hours are 0700 - 1700, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays. All personnel will work an 8-hour workday.\nResponsibilities\nProvide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support for Voice over Internet Protocol Systems (VoIP)/Voice over Secure Internet Protocol Systems (VoSIP) technology in coordination with DISA and NETCOM.\nProvide expert technical support for VoIP networks, system upgrades, and end user instrument configuration.\nProvide O&M support for new, existing, and future VoIP (secure and non-secure) technology.\nProvide expert technical support for existing and growing VoIP networks, System upgrades, and equipment purchases.\nUse NetOps capabilities to execute VoIP/VoSIP responsibilities and functions.\nManage and maintain the Call Managers, Gatekeepers and Gateway equipment, if applicable, on all networks.\nMonitor and identify capacity, quality and performance issues for VoIP traffic to ensure continued, uninterrupted operation of telephony systems.\nProvide all VoIP/VoSIP related cybersecurity functions to include STIGS, patching, IAVA, Risk Management Framework, and Commander Operational Readiness Assessment (CORA) tasks.\nPrepare, maintain, and review circuit level voice IP drawings and coordinate with Government representatives to develop VoIP TTP for VoIP implementation on installations.\nPerform analysis of VoIP degradations and failures, and then provide trend analysis and recommendations to the Government to avert future issues.\nProvide complete and accurate VoIP Diagrams and associated Voice/Video over Internet Protocol (VVOIP) compliance documentation.\nProvide local common-user LAN and CAN touch labor or remote (troubleshooting, repairing, etc.).\nMonitor the limited geographic CAN and LAN by utilizing enterprise management software to monitor network performance, analyze network activity, and maintain a high level of network availability.\nPerform network discovery and conduct fault analysis.\nProvide network utilization reports to the Customer.\nManage network equipment/software to include configuration management and capacity management.\nDraft and maintain SOP documents for the functional category.\nManage and maintain approved connections to external networks.\nMaintain, configure, and troubleshoot E-911systems.\nPerform other duties as required.\nRequired Experience/Qualifications\nAssociate’s degree or four years of relevant hands on experience.\nMinimum of three years’ experience supporting Voice/Telephone Switch requirements.\nSecurity+ certification\nExperienced with Call Manager and Unified Communication systems/services.\nFluent in the spoken and written English language, to include the usage of technical terms commonly used in information technology (IT), network routing and switching, telecommunications, IT maintenance, and technical control facilities.\nPreferred Experience/Qualifications\nSupported the U.S. Army or other DoD Agency.\nHas the communication skills to effectively interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates.\nCisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA).\nSpecial Requirements/Security Clearance\nRequires a Secret Security Clearance.\nSalary Range\nSalary Minimum: $65,000\nSalary Maximum: $85,000\nThe annual base salary provided is a guideline for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
