This position is located at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida. Proven ability in planning, project management and communication skills with both internal and external customers. A dedicated, highly motivated team player providing support and guidance to the Team. Emphasis is on designing engineering installation plans and providing list of required materials.\nResponsibilities\nThe Network Engineer designs and plans network communications systems, including voice, video, and data communications commodities.\n\nProvides detailed Layer 1 solutions for multiple communications disciplines to include but not limited to copper and fiber infrastructure, PA and Aural Warning, and A/V solutions.\nProvides specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.\n\nWork with engineering staff in performance of requirements analysis, technical solutions, test criteria, integration plan, and installation solutions and recommendations.\n\nConducts cost/benefit analysis and provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.\n\nResponsible for monitoring network hardware operations to ensure properly set configuration options.\n\nPlans implementation of enhancements and upgrades to the network.
