Reporting to the Regional HR Lead, this role serves as the primary HR partner in Brazil - managing HR operations, employee relations, labor compliance, employee engagement, and local office administration. This role combines hands-on HR administration with strategic employee engagement and expertise in Brazilian labor law, with the flexibility to navigate HR matters across LATAM markets.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. HR Operations & Compliance\nManage the full employee lifecycle for Brazil and LATAM employees.\n\nAdminister payroll inputs, attendance, leave management, and benefits enrollment in coordination with vendors and finance, ensuring compliance with all applicable engagement models.\n\nEnsure full compliance with Brazilian labor law (CLT), INSS, FGTS, IRRF, and mandatory reporting obligations.\n\nMaintain compliance with occupational health and safety legislation, including coordination of PGR, PCMSO, SIPAT, and CIPA requirements.\n\nMonitor labor law developments across key LATAM markets and advise on compliance implications.\n\nSupport internal and external HR audits; maintain and update HR policies to reflect regulatory requirements and changes.\n\nMaintain accurate HRIS records and ensure data integrity across all supported markets.\n\nCoordinate statutory and supplementary benefits administration, including vale-refeição, vale-transporte, plano de saúde, and other applicable programs.\n\nSupport visa and work permit processes for foreign employees as required.\n\nAs the company expands into new markets, extend HR and administrative support to additional regions or countries as business needs evolve.\n\n2. Employee Relations\nServe as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and workplace concerns across Brazil and LATAM.\n\nManage grievances, disciplinary proceedings, and performance improvement plans with fairness and confidentiality.\n\nAdvise and coach managers on performance management, team dynamics, and engagement matters.\n\nConduct exit interviews, analyze attrition trends, and present retention recommendations to leadership.\n\nCollaborate with local legal counsel on complex matters involving CLT obligations and labor court exposure.\n\nFoster a positive, inclusive workplace culture that supports employee well-being and reflects organizational values.\n\nPlan and execute local events, team-building initiatives, and cultural celebrations in alignment with global guidelines.\n\n3. Office & IT Administration\nManage the shipping and receiving of company laptops locally, acting as the on-site helper to perform basic device setups under the step-by-step guidance of the remote IT team.\n\nOversee day-to-day office operations, facility maintenance, and vendor management to ensure a safe and productive workplace.\n\nManage office supplies, pantry inventory, corporate mobile lines, and procurement activities.\n\nFacilitate office access control, visitor management, and front-desk operations as needed.\n\n4. Talent Market Intelligence\nMonitor hiring trends, compensation benchmarks, and employer branding strategies among crypto/Web3 and fintech companies in Brazil and LATAM to inform talent strategy.\n\nContribute to recruitment and employer branding initiatives as required.\n\nQualifications\n1. Required\nMinimum 5 years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or HR management capacity.\n\nComprehensive knowledge of Brazilian labor law.\n\nDemonstrated experience managing employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary cases, and workplace investigations.\n\nFluency in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken, is a must.\n\nComfortable building HR and office functions from the ground up (0-to-1 experience) - setting up processes, policies, and infrastructure in a new or scaling environment.\n\nProactive and self-driven, with a track record of identifying gaps and implementing solutions without waiting for direction.\n\n2.
