This role will be responsible for developing and executing risk-based audit plans, leading end-to-end internal audit engagements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.\nThe ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of financial services, cryptocurrency, and blockchain, with proven ability to provide assurance to senior management and the Board on governance, risk, and controls.\nAudit Strategy & Planning\nDesign and execute comprehensive risk-based internal audit plans aligned with organizational strategy, regulatory requirements, and emerging risks.\n\nEvaluate governance frameworks, risk management processes, and internal controls across operational, financial, and compliance areas.\n\nAudit Execution & Reporting\nLead and oversee internal audit engagements, ensuring delivery in accordance with IIA standards and internal audit methodology.\n\nDraft high-quality audit reports that clearly communicate findings, root causes, and practical recommendations to management and the Board.\n\nMonitor and follow-up on remediation of audit issues, driving timely implementation of corrective actions.\n\nInnovation & Analytics\nLeverage data analytics, including SQL-based data extraction and analysis, as well as AI-driven tools and techniques, to enhance audit testing, continuous monitoring, and risk assessment processes.\n\nApply advanced analytics (e.g., anomaly detection, predictive modeling) to identify patterns, outliers, and emerging risks more effectively.\n\nStay ahead of industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging risks in cryptocurrency, DeFi, and blockchain, continuously adapting audit approaches and incorporating innovative technologies (including AI/ML) into audit methodologies.\n\nCollaboration\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g. Compliance, Risk and Finance) across global functions to foster transparency and effective risk management.\n\n Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; CPA, CIA, CISA or other relevant certifications preferred.\n\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in internal auditing or compliance experience in financial services, fintech, or cryptocurrency sectors.\n\nStrong understanding of internal control frameworks, risk management practices, and IIA auditing standards.\n\nExperience leading regulatory or external audit reviews, with proven ability to manage complex, cross-border audits.\n\nStrong knowledge of cryptocurrency exchange operations, blockchain, and related regulatory frameworks (global & regional).\n\nDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.\n\nEffective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to senior management.\n\nProficient in Chinese and English for business usage\n\nWhy Join Us\nAt Bybit, we are committed to fostering a supportive and enriching work environment. \nOur benefits include:\n- Study Growth Fund: We support your professional development and continuous learning.\n- Internal Events: Participate in regular team-building activities, workshops, and events designed to promote collaboration and innovation.\n- Global Collaboration: Be part of a diverse, international team, working alongside colleagues from around the world.\n- Career Advancement: Access opportunities for growth and advancement within a rapidly expanding global company.\n- Internal Mobility: Grow with us- Your long-term development is important to us.
