The role will ensure investigations and regulatory reports are completed to a high standard, filed within applicable regulatory timelines, and supported by clear, defensible analysis.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the end-to-end financial crime investigation and STR/SAR process, from case escalation and investigation through review and regulatory filing.\n\nReview and approve investigations, STR/SAR narratives and supporting analysis for accuracy, completeness and regulatory compliance.\n\nEstablish investigation and STR/SAR standards, procedures, quality controls and escalation thresholds.\n\nEnsure regulatory filings are completed accurately and within applicable jurisdictional deadlines.\n\nEnsure investigations are supported by sufficient transaction data, customer information, on-chain analysis and other relevant evidence.\n\nIdentify complex or high-risk cases and escalate material matters to the relevant MLRO.\n\nMonitor investigation and STR/SAR quality, volumes, turnaround times and other key performance indicators.\n\nProvide guidance, feedback and training to investigators and STR/SAR makers to continuously improve investigation and reporting quality.\n\nWork closely with MLROs, AML Operations, Transaction Monitoring and other Compliance teams on emerging typologies, control gaps and remediation.\n\nSupport regulatory enquiries, audits and reviews relating to investigations and suspicious transaction reporting.\n\nRequirements\n6+ years of relevant experience in AML, financial crime investigations, transaction monitoring or suspicious transaction reporting, with experience reviewing or approving STRs/SARs.\n\nStrong understanding of AML/CFT requirements, investigation methodologies and regulatory reporting expectations.\n\nExperience leading or providing oversight of investigators, STR/SAR analysts or similar financial crime operations.\n\nStrong ability to assess complex transaction patterns and produce clear, defensible investigation conclusions.\n\nExperience with transaction monitoring, case management and blockchain analytics tools.\n\nExperience in digital assets, crypto, fintech, payments or financial services strongly preferred.\n\nStrong analytical judgement, attention to detail and ability to operate across multiple jurisdictions and regulatory requirements.\n\nProfile\nStrong investigative judgement with the ability to distinguish genuinely suspicious activity from false positives.\n\nComfortable making and defending escalation and filing decisions.\n\nHands-on and able to operate effectively in a high-volume, fast-moving environment.\n\nStrong focus on investigation quality, regulatory defensibility and continuous process improvement.\n\nInterest in leveraging technology and AI to improve investigation quality, consistency and efficiency.\n\nWhy Join Us\nAt Bybit, we are committed to fostering a supportive and enriching work environment. \nOur benefits include:\n- Study Growth Fund: We support your professional development and continuous learning.\n- Internal Events: Participate in regular team-building activities, workshops, and events designed to promote collaboration and innovation.\n- Global Collaboration: Be part of a diverse, international team, working alongside colleagues from around the world.\n- Career Advancement: Access opportunities for growth and advancement within a rapidly expanding global company.\n- Internal Mobility: Grow with us- Your long-term development is important to us.
