BYD Europe BV offers a full line of BYD electric vehicles, including all-electric cars, all-electric buses, and all-electric forklift trucks.\nKey Responsibilities:\n Manage the procurement cycle for indirect materials: from requisitions, sourcing, RFQs, negotiation, contracting, and to PO placement.\nUtilize SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) systems to manage supplier onboarding, performance, risk assessment and Tender process.\nUse SAP to create and manage purchase orders, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.\nDevelop and maintain relationships with suppliers, perform supplier evaluations, and track KPIs (cost performance, quality, delivery, sustainability).\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., operations, Marketing) to understand their needs and plan procurement strategies accordingly.\nDrive cost savings, efficiency improvements, and process optimization (e.g., via standardization, consolidation, framework agreements).\nMonitor market trends, benchmark pricing, and evaluate suppliers to ensure competitiveness and continuity of supply.\n• Participate in cross-functional projects, such as process improvement, system implementations, or supplier development.\nSkills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:\nBachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.\nMinimum of 3-5 years’ experience in procurement\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for data analysis, reporting).\nStrong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.\nProven ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.\nFluent in English (both written and spoken).
