The successful candidate must have a strong Electrical Engineering (EE) background and be able to provide technical oversight and guidance across complex data center projects.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and manage the engineering design team, including team structure, resource planning, workload allocation and performance management.\n\nSet the overall technical direction, engineering standards and design processes for the team.\n\nOversee engineering design delivery from concept and detailed design through construction support and commissioning.\n\nLead design reviews and ensure engineering deliverables meet project requirements, client expectations and applicable standards.\n\nProvide technical oversight for electrical systems including MV/LV distribution, transformers, switchgear, UPS, generators, busway and critical power infrastructure.\n\nReview and challenge key technical deliverables including SLDs, design calculations, equipment selections and technical specifications.\n\nEnsure effective coordination between Electrical, Mechanical, Controls/BMS and other engineering disciplines.\n\nManage engineering resources and design schedules across multiple projects.\n\nIdentify and resolve design risks, technical gaps and constructability issues.\n\nWork closely with Project Management, Pre-Sales, Procurement and site teams to ensure designs are technically sound, practical and commercially viable.\n\nAct as a senior technical representative in client meetings, design workshops and technical discussions.\n\nManage relationships with consultants, contractors, OEMs and other technical partners.\n\nDevelop the engineering team's technical capability through coaching, mentoring and structured development.\n\nDrive continuous improvement of engineering processes, design quality and technical standards.\n\nSupport the evaluation and adoption of new technologies for data center and critical infrastructure solutions.\n\nRequirements\nBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or equivalent.\n\nMinimum 12 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably within data centers, mission-critical facilities or critical infrastructure.\n\nProven experience leading and managing engineering/design teams.\n\nStrong Electrical Engineering knowledge with the ability to review, challenge and guide complex electrical designs.\n\nStrong understanding of data center power infrastructure, redundancy and resiliency principles.\n\nExperience with MV/LV systems, UPS, generators, transformers, switchgear and power distribution.\n\nGood understanding of multidisciplinary MEP design and coordination.\n\nExperience managing engineering delivery across multiple projects and priorities.\n\nStrong leadership, people management and stakeholder management skills.\n\nAble to communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors and senior management.\n\nExperience supporting projects through design, construction, testing and commissioning.\n\nRegional/APAC project experience would be an advantage.\n\nPreferred\nProfessional Engineer (PE) registration or equivalent professional qualification.\n\nExperience in hyperscale or large-scale data center projects.\n\nExperience working within a design consultancy, data center operator, design & build contractor or systems integrator.\n\nKnowledge of high-density data center infrastructure and liquid cooling solutions would be an
