Bulk delivery is service, delivery, and the successful completion of other related duties.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nTravel to retailers, breweries, importers, distributors, and distribution centers to transfer product and other cargo. \nCheck in; ensure accuracy of invoice and quantities of items being delivered.\nEnsure safety of the public, yourself, cargo, and distributor cargo.\nSort and pick up all breakage/empties daily.\nCreate, develop, and maintain goodwill in every account.\nHonor all business and personal commitments with your customers.\nQuality Assurance\nCheck stability of cargo, making sure it is loaded properly before departing from load point.\nUtilize straps, load locks and other devices to secure cargo to prevent load shift.\nVisually inspect cargo to avoid frozen, overheated, or damaged product. Immediately report issues to distribution manager.\nEnsure on-time deliveries and dunnage pick up daily. \nRelated Duties\nComplete all route settlement responsibilities neatly, accurately, and within the company guidelines.\nFollow correct check out and check in procedures.\nBe accountable for any product or monetary inaccuracies.\nMaintain a neat and professional appearance, abiding by company policy.\nDrive your vehicle safely and with courtesy, obeying all laws, DOT requirements, and company policies.\nReport vehicle damage and required maintenance to management.\nKeep vehicle neat and clean at all times.\nReport competitive activities to your supervisor.\nAttend meetings as required.\nObey all company policies, including company safety policies.\nPerform other related duties as instructed by management.\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nN/A\nRequirements\nEducation and Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nValid Class A CDL required. \nDOT Med Card required. \nAdditional Qualifications and Competencies\nAbility to read, perform basic math skills and operate a calculator\nAbility to negotiate a positive outcome\nProblem solving/analysis skills\nCustomer/driver focus\nResults-driven\nFlexible \nMeet the following insurance and alcohol board criteria (required): \nAged 21 years or older \nVerifiable CDL driving experience\nNo felonies within the past five years\nNo alcohol or controlled substance related offenses within the past two years \nNo theft within the past two years\nNo more than one reckless driving charge within the past three years \nWork Environment\nThis position requires exposure to all seasonal weather conditions, traffic noise, automotive fumes and cramped quarters. This job also operates in a professional office environment.
