This route requires fingerprinting of the freight.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nServicing:\nTransport products from the warehousing locations to the store locations\nManage, rotate, and maintain stock at retail.\nSort and pick up all breakage/empties.\nCreate, develop, and maintain goodwill in every account.\nHonor all business and personal commitments with your customers.\nMerchandising and Quality Assurance:\nRotate, stock, and merchandise product at every retail outlet.\nBuild, merchandise, and maintain all displays with proper POS (Point of Sales).\nMerchandise and stock all coolers, backrooms, retail floor areas, and cold or warm shelves to effectively sell company products.\nRotate products and adhere to company “Quality Assurance Policy” guidelines and other company policies in all accounts.\nRelated Duties:\nComplete all route settlement responsibilities neatly, accurately, and within the company guidelines.\nFollow correct check-out and check-in procedures.\nBe accountable for any product or monetary inaccuracies.\nMaintain a neat and professional appearance, abiding by company policy.\nDrive your vehicle safely and with courtesy, obeying all laws, DOT requirements, and company policies.\nReport vehicle damage and required maintenance to management.\nKeep vehicle neat and clean at all times.\nReport competitive activities to your supervisor.\nAttend meetings as required.\nObey company procedures and safety policies.\nPerform other related duties as instructed by management.\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nN/A\nRequirements\nEducation and Experience\nValid Class A CDL required. \nDOT Med Card required. \nAdditional Qualifications and Competencies\nSelf-motivated to be safe and effective on the job, including compliance with all DOT and FMCSA requirements\nDesire to work in an individual atmosphere for a large percentage of the worktime. \nCustomer focused mentality and strong desire to meet retailer needs through on time product delivery.\nMeet the following insurance and alcohol board criteria (required): \nAged 21 years or older \nVerifiable CDL driving experience\nNo felonies within the past two years\nNo alcohol or controlled substance related offenses within the past two years \nNo theft within the past two years\nNo more than one reckless driving charge within the past three years \nWork Environment\nThis position requires exposure to all seasonal weather conditions, traffic noise, automotive fumes and cramped quarters. This job also operates in a professional office environment.
