You will partner closely with customers to understand their business challenges, provide tailored solutions, and conduct business reviews that drive value and long-term growth.\nIf you are a proactive, customer-focused professional with experience in freight forwarding, logistics, account management, or customer-facing commercial roles, we encourage you to apply.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nThe duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:\nManage and grow a portfolio of small to mid-sized customer accounts in the Bilbao region.\nDevelop and maintain strong customer relationships through regular on-site visits and face-to-face engagement.\nServe as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness.\nConduct business reviews, customer presentations, and strategic account meetings to strengthen partnerships and drive growth.\nIdentify opportunities to expand existing business by promoting C.H. Robinson's transportation, logistics, and supply chain solutions.\nCollaborate with Sales, Operations, and Product teams to deliver effective solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.\nAnalyze customer performance, operational trends, and account data to identify improvement opportunities and support decision-making.\nManage challenging customer conversations professionally, providing clear communication and developing mutually beneficial solutions.\nAct as the voice of the customer internally, ensuring customer needs and priorities are understood across the organization.\nTravel approximately 30% of the time to customer locations to build relationships, support business objectives, and maintain a strong local presence.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nRequired:\nMinimum 5 years of experience in Account Management, Customer Service, Sales, or a customer-facing role within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.\nStrong customer relationship management and communication skills.\nExperience conducting business reviews, customer presentations, and handling challenging customer conversations professionally.\nFluent in Spanish and English.\nAbility to travel locally to customer sites (approximately 30% travel).\nPreferred\nKnowledge of Basque (Euskera).\nBachelor's degree or equivalent experience.\nStrong presentation and negotiation skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot.\nExperience analyzing customer and business performance data.\nAbility to build relationships across multiple levels of customer organizations.\nSelf-driven and proactive approach, with a strong customer-service mindset.\nFreight forwarding and supply chain experience in international logistics environments.\nWe will review applications for this role on an ongoing basis and encourage all interested candidates to apply at their earliest convenience.\nCompensation Range\n€27,755.00 - €99,225.00The base pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for the position across the entirety of the country this requisition is posted in.
