Robinson is seeking experienced Infrastructure Manager Engineering on our Application Hosting team to lead a globally distributed Application Hosting team responsible for delivering reliable, secure, scalable, and highly available application hosting platforms.\nThis role requires a hands-on technical leader who can balance people leadership, operational excellence, and technical expertise. The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for Windows and Linux application hosting environments, IIS platforms, routing technologies, load balancing solutions, and middleware services that support critical enterprise applications.\nThe ideal candidate is not simply a people manager, but a technical manager capable of leading architectural discussions, troubleshooting complex production issues, serving as an escalation point, and driving engineering excellence across the team.\nResponsibilities:\nLeadership & Team Management\nLead, coach, and develop a globally distributed team of engineers and platform administrators.\nManage team performance, delivery execution, career development, and employee engagement.\nFoster a culture of accountability, operational excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nPartner with leaders across Infrastructure, Engineering, Security, and Architecture teams.\nSupport vendor relationships and service delivery management.\nApplication Hosting & Platform Operations\nOwn the operational health, availability, performance, and scalability of enterprise application hosting platforms.\nEnsure stable and secure hosting environments for mission-critical applications.\nLead incident management efforts, including escalation, root cause analysis, and service restoration.\nDrive platform reliability through automation, standardization, and process improvement.\nEstablish operational standards, controls, and best practices.\nManage deployments, platform upgrades, and infrastructure changes.\nTechnical Leadership\nServe as the technical leader and escalation point for the Application Hosting team.\nLead technical troubleshooting and complex problem resolution efforts.\nFacilitate architecture and design discussions related to application hosting platforms.\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers.\nDrive modernization and automation initiatives across hosting environments.\nCollaborate with engineering teams to improve platform performance, reliability, and supportability.\nPlatform Ownership\nThe Application Hosting team is responsible for technologies including:\nWindows Server\nIIS (Internet Information Services)\nLinux-based application hosting environments\nF5 Load Balancing\nKong Gateway\nCloudflare\nRouting technologies and traffic management solutions\nMiddleware and application hosting services\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.\n5+ years of infrastructure engineering or platform engineering experience.\n2+ years of people leadership experience leading technical teams.\nExtensive experience administering and supporting Windows Server environments.\nStrong experience with IIS administration and application hosting.\nExperience supporting Linux-based platforms and applications.\nExperience with routing, traffic management, and load balancing technologies.\nDemonstrated ability to lead technical troubleshooting and incident response efforts.\nExperience leading technical discussions, architecture reviews, and platform design decisions.\nStrong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with F5 load balancers.\nExperience with Kong Gateway.\nExperience with Cloudflare services.\nExperience supporting middleware or enterprise application hosting platforms.\nExposure to Kubernetes or containerized application platforms.\nExperience with infrastructure automation and operational tooling.\nFamiliarity with ITIL or enterprise service management practices.\nExperience leading globally distributed teams.\nExperience managing platform roadmaps, vendor relationships, and operational budgets.\nWe will review applications for this role on an ongoing basis and encourage all interested candidates to apply at their earliest convenience.\nCompensation Range\n$119,800.00 - $202,300.00The base pay range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this specific location.
