The team may meet in the Warsaw office periodically for collaboration, while day-to-day work can be performed flexibly based on what works best for you and the team.\nJoin us in a fast-paced environment where you can take ownership of meaningful projects, collaborate across our global technology organization, and help modernize critical systems that support how freight is booked!\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nDefine interfaces, develop solutions, and influence architectural changes in partnership with principal engineers, product partners, and other stakeholders.\nOptimize, refactor, modernize, and reuse code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.\nResearch complex problems, translate high-level requirements into technical designs, and break smaller projects into deliverable work.\nIncrease code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and sound engineering practices.\nProactively troubleshoot and resolve production issues across distributed systems.\nImplement secure programming patterns and enhance application security.\nEstimate project needs and dependencies, communicate progress, and drive work through to completion.\nCollaborate actively with engineers across Poland and the United States, sharing opinions, feedback, and technical knowledge.\nUse AI-assisted engineering tools for coding, research, and design while applying independent judgement and validating the quality of the output.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nRequired:\n3+ years of experience working in a software development team environment\n3+ years of experience creating applications and features in an object-oriented environment (e.g., C#, .NET)\nExperience working with relational databases and SQL, including database objects, queries, and data-focused application development\nExperience designing or developing microservices, APIs, or distributed systems (e.g., WebAPI, ServiceStack, REST APIs)\nExperience with Kubernetes or containerized application environments\nExperience with code reviews, code optimization, unit testing, acceptance testing, and version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub, TFS)\nExperience independently researching and designing a small project, breaking down the work, and driving it through to completion\nStrong communication and collaboration skills, including sharing opinions, giving feedback, and communicating timelines and project progress\nExperience using AI-assisted engineering tools, with the ability to critically review and validate the output\nFluent English\nPreferred:\nExperience with data streaming architecture and frameworks (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, ESB)\nExperience with Azure DevOps pipelines\nExperience with system integration, global projects, or large-scale distributed systems\nExperience with transportation, logistics, booking, pricing, or other business-critical systems\nWHAT WE OFFER\nA fun, open, and inclusive workplace that encourages innovative thinking\nOpportunities for professional growth with access to training platforms \nFlexible work arrangements to support a healthy work-life balance\nFull-time employment contracts (umowa o pracę - UoP)\nComprehensive benefits: competitive salary and performance-based bonuses, private medical care, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) after one year of employment\nWe will review applications for this role on an ongoing basis and encourage all interested candidates to apply at their earliest convenience.\nCompensation Range\nzł174,500.00 - zł373,300.00The base pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for the position across the entirety of the country this requisition is posted in.
