Robinson is looking for a strategic and results-driven Sourcing Manager to help shape and execute our vendor supply strategy. In this role, you will build and manage key vendor partnerships, develop supply plans that meet customer demand, and leverage market insights to drive growth and profitability. Robinson.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nThe duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:\nOversees the day-to-day management of the domestic vendor supply plan of the category, to include communication, execution, quoting and contract proposals, service level management and reporting\nPromotes innovation within the category, differentiating our offering through packaging, varietals, supply chain efficiency, etc. to remain relevant and competitive in the marketplace\nIn coordination with the category’s leadership, they are responsible for transactional, promotional, and contract pricing decisions\nManage domestic vendor relationships through vendor review processes to continuously improve performance against category plans\nResponsible for actively managing a pipeline of new domestic vendors to meet our customers’ demand, identified in coordination with our commercial teams\nConsistently and effectively educates internal teams about all aspects of the category’s transactional market, proactively managing supply fluctuations to avoid gaps and maximizing opportunities to drive volume sales\nWorks with category leaders to develop strong supply plans that include the right vendors and strategy to meet the requirements of the customer base and enable growth and profitability in the category\nOther duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements\nQUALIFICATIONS\nRequired:\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nMinimum 6 years of experience in fresh produce sourcing or sales across US geographies\nAbility to travel up to 25% (domestically and internationally)\nPreferred:\nBachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university\nBasic understanding of post-harvest and cold chain principles and technologies\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs\nStrong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment\nExcellent relationship building skills with customers, vendors, and internal teams\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nExperienced in negotiation, pricing strategy, and building programs\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to make data-driven decisions\nStrategic and innovative mindset, able to develop and drive sourcing initiatives from conception to implementation\nAbility to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment, sometimes out of normal business hours\nAttention to detail with high standards for work; a customer service mindset\nValues a diverse and inclusive work environment\nDisclaimer:\nThis job description is intended to generally describe the nature and level of work to be performed by employees in this position.
