They are hiring a Commissioning Engineer in Red Oak, TX to lead commissioning on mission-critical construction projects, reporting to the Manager, Commissioning.\nWhat you will own\nSite-specific L1 to L5 commissioning for new and expansion projects\nCommissioning plans, scripts and procedures across multiple disciplines\nStart-up and commissioning schedules, integrated into the project schedule with monthly critical path reporting\nCommissioning RFPs, from creation through to award\nWeekly punch-list reviews and a punch-list prevention plan\nReview of design documents, specifications, vendor submittals and start-up procedures\nOversight of electrical, mechanical, fire alarm, fire protection and controls subcontractors\nCloseout documentation, and a smooth handover to facility operations\nWhat success looks like\nSystems perform to design. Punch-list items close before they pile up. Closeout documentation is complete, and operations take over a facility they can trust.\nRequirements\nWhat we need from you\n5+ years leading commissioning in mission-critical facilities\nA degree in engineering or construction management, or equivalent experience\nStrong MEP knowledge, and the ability to read owner project requirements, drawings, schematics and sequences of operation\nExperience developing and running commissioning plans, scripts and procedures\nKnowledge of NETA standards, BMS and EPMS, access control and CCTV\nScheduling in MS Project or Primavera P6, with DCMA 14 or similar\nClear communication with trade partners, vendors and non-technical stakeholders\nComfort on active construction sites, including ladders, stairs and personnel hoists\nBenefits\nWhat you get\nA base salary of $170,000 to $190,000 plus a 10% bonus, and ownership of commissioning on live mission-critical builds.
