Whether you are looking for a street-legal low-speed vehicle, a golf fleet, or a rugged utility cart, C2 Vehicles offers the region’s largest inventory and most experienced team.\nPosition Summary\nC2 Vehicles, New England’s leading golf car distributor, is seeking an experienced Delivery Driver to support vehicle deliveries from our Saco, ME branch. This is a Full-Time Permanentposition responsible for operating a Commercial Truck and 44-foot trailer capable of transporting up to 10 golf cars and utility vehicles.\nIn addition to delivery responsibilities, this position includes light mechanical work, fueling golf carts, and detailing vehicles prior to delivery, as needed. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong team-oriented mindset, mechanical background, and a willingness to assist with additional tasks to ensure delivery schedules and customer commitments are met.\nC2 Vehicles will provide service-related training to the right candidate.\nDaily Responsibilities:\nDriving a delivery truck with a 44-foot trailer\nLoading and unloading truck and trailer- both at the branch prior to delivery and at customer locations.\nEnsure all golf carts and/or utility vehicles are strapped and secured on trailers\nMaintain vehicle logs, pre- delivery, and post-delivery inspections.\nMaintaining clear and legible delivery documents- both from deliveries and customer pick-ups.\nIdentifying preventative maintenance on both the truck and trailer and communicating issues timely to eliminate vehicle down time.\nKnowledge of and compliance with all applicable DOT regulations.\nEngaging customers during deliveries.\nPerforming basic mechanical repairs, Maintenance, and troubleshooting on golf carts and other utility vehicles. \nAssist C2 team members at times with cleaning, servicing, and preparing vehicles for delivery. \nQualifications:\nValid Driver's License \nAbility to successfully pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination \nClean driving record required\nMinimum of 2 years’ experience operating a truck and Trailer\nNeat, professional appearance with a customer-focused attitude\nProfessional demeanor with an emphasis on customer service before, during, and after deliveries\nDemonstrated mechanical aptitude with the capability to support light maintenance activities as needed\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to safely operate a commercial vehicle for extended periods\nAbility to climb in and out of trucks and trailers throughout the day\nAbility to load, unload, secure, and inspect golf carts and utility vehicles on car haulers\nAbility to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds\nAbility to bend, kneel, reach, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions\nAbility to meet all DOT physical and medical requirements\nBenefits:\nHealth & Wellness:Medical, Dental, Vision, and FSA plans to keep you and your family healthy \nPaid Time Off:Up to 3 weeks of Paid Time Off in your first year\nRetirement:401(k) plan with company match to help you plan for the future\nCompany Paid Benefits:Life Insurance, Long-Term Disability and AD&D\nCompensation:\nThe hourly rate for this role is $25.00 - $30.00 Per hour.
