In this role, you will be highly involved in various aspects of the payroll processes and initiatives. We seek a hands-on, self-motivated individual with experience thriving in high-growth environments. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact within our organization.\nPlease note that this position is full-time and located onsite at our Redwood City office.\nResponsibilities:\nProcess semi-monthly, multi state US payroll, including medical benefits, FSA, ESPP, 401(k) contributions and loans.\nManage daily stock activities such as exercise and vesting.\nWork closely with HR team on employee matters including new hires, terminations, leave of absences and other changes that affect payroll.\nMaintain payroll operations by ensuring compliance with established company procedures and federal and state regulations.\nPrepare payroll journal entries and assist with GL account reconciliations for month-end close.\nParticipate in quarterly reviews, annual audit, and SOX requests.\nProvide cross-functional support to the accounting team, including AP operations and GL, as business needs require.\nAct as the point of contact for payroll related questions and inquires.\nAssist in ad hoc requests including but not limited to 401(k) audit, worker’s comp audit, insurance renewals, benefits requests, and payroll cash flows.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field.\n3+ years of experience processing U.S. payroll.\nExperience working in a high-growth company, preferably in the software industry.\nProficiency in daily tasks but also adaptable to changing priorities.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nExperience with NetSuite Payroll is a plus.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel.\nCandidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future company sponsorship.\nC3 AI provides excellent benefits, a competitive compensation package and generous equity plan. \nCalifornia Base Pay Range\n$78,000—$99,000 USD\nC3 AI is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
