If you’re energized by learning through real-world challenges, collaborating with top-tier talent, and expanding your capabilities every day, C5MI is where strong consultants level up.\nPosition Summary:\nThe Senior SAP EWM Consultant designs, configures, and implements SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions for large-scale, complex SAP S/4HANA implementations supporting federal and Department of Defense (DoD) clients, such as the U.S. Navy. This individual works closely with client stakeholders to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and translate business needs into robust system solutions that support complex supply chain and logistics operations. The Senior SAP EWM Consultant leads client workshops, drives successful adoption of the new platform, and mentors other consultants.\nEssential Functions & Responsibilities:\nLeads client workshops to analyze business processes, gather business requirements, and design the SAP EWM solution to meet client-specific logistics needs, including Navy and DoD supply chain requirements.\n\nConfigures and customizes core SAP EWM processes, including inbound processing, outbound processing, physical inventory, and internal warehouse movements, within a large-scale S/4HANA implementation.\n\nDevelops detailed functional specifications for custom developments (RICEFW objects) and interfaces with legacy systems and other SAP modules, including MM, SD, and TM.\n\nPlans and performs unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, and identifies and resolves issues, defects, and gaps to ensure high-quality deliverables that meet business requirements.\n\nSupports data migration activities for master and transactional data related to warehouse management.\n\nProvides go-live and post-go-live support, troubleshoots complex SAP EWM functionality, configuration, and data issues, and collaborates with technical teams to resolve them.\n\nFacilitates knowledge transfer to end users and support teams by creating user manuals, configuration guides, and training materials and by conducting training sessions on EWM processes and best practices.\n\nWorks closely with large, cross-functional teams, including project managers, solution architects, developers, data migration experts, and business process owners, to ensure seamless integration of SAP EWM with other SAP modules.\n\nCommunicates complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical client stakeholders and drives successful adoption of the new platform.\n\nProvides coaching and mentorship to other consultants, guiding them through goals and obstacles.\n\nStays current on SAP EWM functionality, enhancements, and best practices, and proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement and optimization.\n\nTravels to client sites as needed to assist with project activities and go-lives; travel up to 50% of the time.\n\nAdheres to all certified processes as part of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and information security, which includes actively participating in quality assurance activities and ensuring the protection of sensitive information in accordance with our security policies.\n\nPerforms other related tasks as assigned by direct supervisor.\n\nMinimum Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, or a related field with 5-7 years of relevant experience; or no degree with 7-10 years of relevant experience.\n\nAt least 5 years of hands-on SAP EWM experience, including multiple full lifecycle SAP EWM implementations.\n\nProven experience in a client-facing consulting role.\n\nExperience configuring and customizing core SAP EWM processes, including inbound and outbound processing, physical inventory, internal warehouse movements, putaway and picking strategies, and slotting.\n\nStrong integration knowledge of SAP EWM with SAP MM, SD, and TM.\n\nExperience developing functional specifications for RICEFW objects and interfaces.\n\nExperience performing unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.\n\nSAP S/4HANA or EWM certification required.\n\nAdvanced understanding of SAP EWM functionality, with the ability to independently design, configure, enhance, test, implement, troubleshoot, and debug.\n\nSolid understanding of warehouse management concepts, industry-specific requirements, and logistics processes.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into SAP EWM solutions.\n\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.\n\nProven ability to work effectively in a large, cross-functional team environment, collaborating with developers, data migration experts, and business process owners.\n\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing project priorities and requirements.\n\nS. citizenship required.\n\nActive Secret clearance (Tier 3 investigation) required.\n\nMust be able to travel up to 50% of the time.\n\nNice to Have:\nExperience with SAP S/4HANA EWM, including embedded and decentralized EWM architecture decisions.\n\nSAP implementation experience with the Department of Defense (DoD), preferably the U.S. Navy, or another federal agency.\n\nKnowledge of SAP Activate or ASAP methodology for project implementation.\n\nExperience with EWM automation integration such as Material Flow Systems (MFS) or third-party warehouse control system interfaces.\n\nExperience with ServiceNow.\n\nFormal or informal team lead or supervisory experience beyond mentoring.\n\nExperience contributing to SOWs, proposals, or client presentations.\n\nCompensation: In accordance with pay transparency law, the expected salary range for this position is $135,000 - $160,000 annually. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
