The position serves as the technical liaison between SAP Security, Enterprise Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Application Development teams to ensure security-related applications are reliable, secure, and compliant with Department of Defense (DoD) and DLA requirements. The role designs, develops, and implements security solutions to safeguard digital assets and business operations, and integrates security controls into systems, applications, and processes to protect against cyber threats, unauthorized access, and data breaches.\nEssential Functions & Responsibilities:\nWindows Server Infrastructure:\nDesigns, configures, and maintains Windows Server environments supporting SAP Security applications.\nEngineers secure and resilient Windows solutions in accordance with DLA security standards.\nCoordinates server provisioning, upgrades, and maintenance activities with Enterprise Infrastructure teams.\nEvaluates and recommends infrastructure improvements that enhance application availability and performance.\nSupports high availability and disaster recovery planning for Windows-based security applications.\n\nCustom Application Support:\nSupports the deployment, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Windows-hosted custom applications supporting SAP Security operations.\nCoordinates application releases and production deployments with development teams.\nConfigures IIS web servers, Windows services, scheduled tasks, and application environments.\nTroubleshoots application performance, connectivity, and authentication issues.\nSupports software lifecycle management, including testing, upgrades, and configuration management.\n\nIdentity & Authentication Integration:\nSupports Active Directory integrations for SAP Security applications.\nConfigures and maintains authentication services, service accounts, and directory integrations.\nSupports Microsoft Entra ID synchronization and identity federation services.\nManages digital certificates and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) components supporting security applications.\nAssists with implementation of multi-factor authentication (MFA) technologies where applicable.\n\nAutomation & Process Improvement:\nDevelops PowerShell scripts and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.\nAutomates system health monitoring, reporting, and administrative processes.\nImproves deployment, monitoring, and maintenance activities through scripting and automation.\nIdentifies opportunities to streamline manual operational tasks.\n\nMonitoring & Operational Support:\nMonitors Windows-based applications and supporting services.\nAnalyzes system logs and application performance data to proactively identify issues.\nCoordinates incident resolution with Windows Infrastructure, Application Development, Cybersecurity, and SAP Basis teams as appropriate.\nParticipates in problem management activities, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.\n\nCybersecurity & Compliance:\nSupports compliance with DLA cybersecurity policies and DoD security requirements.\nCoordinates vulnerability remediation activities for Windows-hosted applications.\nSupports Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) implementation and compliance.\nAssists with cybersecurity assessments, audit preparation, and Authority to Operate (ATO) activities.\nMaintains technical documentation supporting security accreditation and audit requirements.\nAdheres to all certified processes as part of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and information security, which includes actively participating in quality assurance activities and ensuring the protection of sensitive information in accordance with our security policies.\nPerforms other related tasks as assigned by direct supervisor.\n Minimum Requirements:\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related discipline with 3-5 years of experience supporting Windows Server environments; or no degree with 5-7 years of experience.\nExperience supporting Windows-hosted enterprise applications.\nExperience with IIS, Active Directory, and PowerShell.\nExperience integrating enterprise applications with identity management solutions.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain an active government clearance (requires U.S. citizenship).\nNice to Have:\nExperience supporting DoD or Federal IT environments\nExperience working within a NIST RMF or cybersecurity compliance environment\nCompensation: In accordance with pay transparency law, the expected salary range for this position is $90,000 - $114,000 annually. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
